Recently, talking from a friend who is a medical professor at a northeast university…this person told me that they were being flooded with OBGYN medical students from Texas, who are forced to leave Texas to get their critical training in abortive care in blue states …my fear as this hardline thinking against abortion goes on, women with complicated pregnancies, especially in red states will suffer unnecessary harm and even death…because of righteous religious dogma…countries who do a better job supporting women and families in general, don’t have as many abortions as the US …therefore instead of working so hard to ban abortion, society should work harder to be more supportive of women and families and then Americans would witness how abortion numbers would go down naturally.
