Nice upload SimRacing Life .. It's disappointing that Kunos Simulazioni never bothered to make AC like this out of the box for the community. It's also a real shame they never bothered to enable the Steam workshop for us too, that would have been perfect for modders.
Thank You To be fair to Kunos, i don't think graphics where a priority or a strong point at the time, and i believe they focused more on handling, tyre models and physics etc. also you've got to remember AC is 5 years old and graphics have come a long way still in that time. However saying that though, i still say to this day the car models are the best I've seen in terms of detail, which may of been why the environment graphics had to be toned down. Take any Codemasters racing game par say, fantastic looking environments to drive around but when you look at the car models you can count the polygons. I too was one of the collected preying for Steam integration, but now I'm not so sure, as maybe we only have Content Manager because of no Steam support ?

Apologies, i recently had oral surgery to rebuild my jaw and teeth following a bike accident which has left me with a plate in my mouth until the end of the year, so until then there is little i can do. but it pains me as i can hear it too and want to be able to deliver the best i can.

I have a question. Why if I have the content manager and the sol when I select for exemple ''heavy rain'' or ''thunderstorm'' before starting the session, in the session the rain doesn't work?
Nice video! Have you tried these mods in vr? If so, how is the impact in performance? I have an i7 4770, rift s and 1080 ti. The vanilla assetto is wonderful in vr (with natural graphics mod only) , I wonder if all of this will not ruin my fps.
Yes I've tried this in VR and yes there is a performance hit but i can still safely run a race with 24 cars on the grid, but your milage may differ, my PC specs are in the video description. So i would just give it a go and then spend some time with the graphics options in Content Manager until your happy, Shaders light patch is the real big hitter here but then it really does add a lot more to AC. Hope that helps.

Thank you so much for this video it is awesome! I just have one problem.. With all these mods installed my game looks 10x better but its still has that assetto corsa like cartoony look. It doesnt look as good as yours' car models and realism. I dont know why tho. All the mods are listed as enabled in my content manager but i was wondering if there was any reason that they wouldnt be working. Thanks!
Well i know that the windscreen and flames mod need a manual install, as does Sol now. you may want to look at your PP Filter for the game as some are totally over saturated and can make AC look somewhat cartoony. i believe i used the PP Filter from WetMod 2 on this video rather than the Sol Filter as recommended by the Sol author. So my advise is just play around with weather settings and PP filters to get a more believable look that you are happy with. Hope this helps in someway and thanks for stopping by (",)
OMG how did we miss Deems Awesome track packs out at the end, and thanks for spotting. Deems track packs now incorporate SOL v1.0 so with that in mind i would install it after Sol. To be honest the first 5 mods on the list can be installed in any order, but from the Shaders Light Patch it really does need to be in that order. Hope that helps.

Hi Jordi The wet mod only works on selected Kunos tracks and currently only 1 mod. You make the track wet by selecting the wet variant when you choose the track to drive. So in the case of Spa you will see two tracks are available to select, one the original and the other is the Wet Mod variant. Hope that helps ?

Hi in content manager where you have single race screen you have weather and track options, i believe that could be one solution, the other is RBS comes with an Autumn Nords mod, you could disable that in the mods section of content manager. hope this helps some.
I've just installed shaders and sol last week but would like to do all the mods on your list, would I have to uninstall shaders and sol and start from the beginning again?
Yes most still work, however than has been some reports that the Sound pack may not be fully functioning. also just be aware that Sol and Shaders patch have seen many updates since this video so just read through the instructions on their pages carefully. Hope that helps.
Some mods do some only work with AC vanilla content, such as wet mod only works on a few AC tracks as does the Deems seasonal weather packs and RBS, but all other mods will work just fine for mod tracks. Hope that helps ?
I see that some are saying that but there is also a review from yesterday that said how much better it sounds, my only guess is that possibly people are not installing it correctly and are quick to shout out about it not working. I’m not in a position to test it today as I’m out of the country but I’ll be sure to investigate some more when I return.

Kunos must of updated AC then, let’s hope the author of the mod makes a fix as the difference was night and day.

BLM Lights is no longer compatible with Wet Mod v2 hence why we didn't include it.

The first one is probably broken. I just installed it and it messed up my sounds in the benchmark.
