What I love about our anthem is that its not all about trumpets playing and "we're the best country ever". Its a nice humble anthem describing how we love our wee country and we'll defend it to the end

My family’s pretty much Scottish through and through and has been for many generations, likely going back to before the battle of Culloden (and is a Scottish clan. Can you explain where this idea that Scotland is currently oppressed comes from?
1) They have the most comprehensive political representation out of any nation in the UK.
2) They have more money spent on them per person than any other nation in the UK.
3) The royal family are Scottish on the paternal side, English on the maternal side.
4) They've been given a vote on leaving, they voted to stay.
