VloĆŸit
- Äas pĆidĂĄn 15. 03. 2021
- On Tuesday, March 16th, Wilfred Frost, the Co-Anchor of CNBC's Closing Bell, joined Alex Karp, the Co-Founder and CEO of Palantir for a near hour-long discussion. I've cut that in half to feature just the highlights.
The discourse was focused around the following prompt: Technology as Sword and Shield. How do we uphold civil liberties and privacy rights in a world of big data?
Enjoy!

Man, Alex Karp is so refreshing to listen to, a CEO who actually answers questions rather than dodging his way into a 30 minute interview of nothing.
This CEO knows the way. America has the key advantage. $PLTR all the way.
He knows da weiiiii
Frrr . Dude just wants ppl to provide value and be fair.
Bought more $PLTR today! This is game changing.
Main takeaway: Need to find more money for $PLTR shares
I bought 94 shares. I want a full 100 shares and I'll be happy
Bought 2k shares today letâs go
They tasty right now!
âArguably the most important software company in the worldâ. Thatâs what sold me 100%, long pltr!
I love this CEO!! The knowledge, the belief, the passion, it's all there. The next Steve Jobs. Go Palantir!
Pardon my language but Alex Karp doesnt give a fuk and i love it đ
Load up as much as you can now because we are seeing the build up of the next truly great stock.
What a great interview! Thanks for posting this! Karp is so great. A ceo who is thankful for what his country has given him, is hard to come by. Usually, itâs those who have benefited most from the U.S., have nothing but negative things to say about their country. Iâm glad they left Silicon Valley. I love how he also credits his team for sticking by him for all the years, before they could actually profit from what they created. It shows humility and class. Heâs certainly a ceo that I will trust with a large portion of my money, for a long time.
Thank you as always for bringing new palantir content. So many people want to invest in this company, they just need more information
Bought more leaps and shares... holding this for 10 years!!!!
@@Gumbo_Calm leaps is a cheaper way to hedge an increase in price
Every time I listen to him I'm reminded what a real CEO is supposed to sound like.
(long PLTR)
âAny tech that is affective can be abusedâ ...great quote alex Iâm keeping that đ»
Love this company!
Iâm ready to hold for a long time!
I need to sell all my belongings and go all the way with Alex futuređđ
Excited to see where Palantir is in 5 years! đ
Can you imagine it trades sideways for 7 years like tsla then boom 700% return lol.
PLTR is a long term play and if you buy and hold youâll be very happy in two years. Like Alex said if youâre in it for a quick trade this isnât a company for you. I also believe youâll see their commercial footprint exploded over the next few months with their strategic partners. In a few years their penetration into medium and small businesses will explode too. They changed their billing model to accommodate medium and small businesses.
Well said đđ»
my main concern is insider sell
@@razrgu3838 why if youâre a long term investor?
2 years? No no no.. too little. in 2 years the stock will be probably traded sideways or a slow increase. I see an explosion and exponential increase in market cap in 5 yrs+.
@@OK-Computer is this Batman or Robin? Im not sure what you mean. If you wait five years I believe youâll have missed a lot of the growth. PLTR is more mature than many tech companies when they come to market and have been building their products in obscurity getting a competitive edge with access to huge amounts of data from the government, which helped build a moat around thier products. It wasnât by luck or accident they partnered with IBM & AWS after their first quarter going public. They have some the smartest people in the world running and working for the company. However, our two different opinions is what makes a market.
Would be great to hear your own thoughts about the interview.
"hey guys why don't we call the crazy looking CEO with the 12yos" gotta love Karp
Love Karp so much!!!
Really like this company, the product and the leadership. Invested in first day of listing, and added leaps and more shares on this correctionđ see lots of upside here.
Thanks for the upload
Thank you for putting out great PLTR content. đ
Iâve been a đđ PLTR investor since the DPO/DL Day 1.
They have the vision and the transformative software.
Ontology will transform business.
đđđPLTRđđđ
Legend. Thanks for sharing.
"Medium sized companies are going to be very, very good for Palantir... Most medium sized companies have just enough soft money to pay for software that can be transformative for them today, and no money to waste, and we love those companies."
was gonna just flip this stock after a couple weeks, but now i want to hold for years. I like karp, great interview.
Thanks for the cut!
Massive thanks for posting this my guy đŻ
Been in PLTR since the high $9âs and I keep buying whenever I can on all the dips possible. If tomorrow we go visit 23$ because so called investor are so afraid of Jay Powell, Iâll buy again
Karp will take us to the moon.
Somebody get this man a comb please
No way, thatâs what keeps this stock going up!
Yes I am in love with his hair đ€Łâ€ïžHe looks great đ
thank you for uploading i love you
great interview, thanks for this post
This guy has a unique product that competes with no one.
Ok, Im in. I like what he is saying.
Pltr is for long term. I owned 400 share right now and I will keep on holding till 2 to 3 year
Just realized he looks like the game creator from Ready Player One (Mark Rylance) gives off mad genius vibes đ
Yes! Watched that a couple weeks back and its hard to think past đ
His hairstyle forced me to buy PLTR!!
bought more during this interview
Smart speech
KARP FOR PRESIDENT!!!!
Respect the point about silicon valley hypocrisy. We don't have to agree with everything govt does but we still support our country
I like the stock!
Thank you so much for your videos. Its too bad I can't buy leaps into 2040 lol.
You are looking for 26:08
thank youuuuuuuu
Zany genius American! I'm buying in deeper. Let the streets be bloody next week. Wallstreet that is.
Who is watching this to find comfort after days and days of dipping and saw your brokerage in red after red and bleeding
Crazy he says he likes retail investors but the news clips today don't say anything about that and just that he said there is better short term opportunities in different stocks. Just like the mainstream media is trying to make the stock tank they can't let us a win at all. At least now I got a buying opportunity since it's a little down.
I want to buy theirs software to used for stock scanner pick
Whereâs the part âno one is forcing you pltrâ lol
I've heard rumors of palantir to be teaming up with Facebook but it doesn't make sense to me by the way that Alex Karp is shitting on silicon valley. He clearly is attacking social media companies in this interview . Am I wrong?
Idk about FB but itâs partnership with AWS and IBM is huge, FB would be another added layer to the company adding âhigh quality clientsâ
So hard
I'm a small pltr investor, but how is supporting ICE and the military industrial complex "helping humanity"
CEO hair remind me of the Joker movie .
Karp gained some weight
Is he a buddy of the shortsellers? He made them all rich.
Still donât understand what they do or how they will make money
They will prob eventually move to selling solutions to smaller companies , meankng big market share expansion in the commercial sector and ofc private. They pretty much do big data and ai from what i understand very sticky and easy to use
I load up this week. I lost 8k today on PLTR đ
How did you lost did you have calls that expired? You only lose if you sell.
@@danielpierce4213 because it was red. I own 4K shares!
Alex Karp seems to struggle with balancing the issues of civil liberties and loyalty to one's host government. He gives the impression that he is never faced with any conflict or moral dilemma. Does he have any doubts that his products will be used for good only? He is clearly the smartest guy in the tech sector.
Musk is IRONMAN. KARP IS CAPTAIN AMERICA!
Yeah people are buying other stock
Ceo very hyper
Stock down today after he made the statement
Can his software control an AI hairbrush?
What about IonQ ? Do you think Palantir will soon use their Quantum computer on the Amazon cloud ? Their ticker is $DMYI
DMYI looks quite interesting... many big investors but itâs a pure growth stock, will wait given the current environment....
@@SD-nm6qp waiting would probably end up being a bad decision. $1 above NAV at $11 . I would follow Dhandoâs investment thesis on this one. âHeads I win, tails I donât lose muchâ
@@enevision6101 Agree, much more upside compared to downside but have lot of SPACâs in my portfolio that are red right now đ
Are they the only quantum player? This space is quite technical and confusing...BTW Who is Dhando?
@@SD-nm6qp itâs a book called the Dhando investor probably a little boring for millennials or gen z. Yes it is the only pure play quantum computing public company. They are far advanced from anyone else (ibm, ggl, hon), and if you do the research their team is a squad. Amazon Google Ventures Bill Gates and Michael Dell amongst others are early investors.
@@enevision6101 Thanks, will give it a serious thought- And will sell something to buy this to limit SPAC exposure. Checked the book on Amazon, looks interesting, will try to read it this weekend. Thanks again.
Listening to him is like listening to Jeff Bezos or Elon Musk in the early days of Tesla or Amazon. Take from that what you will...
These scam/spam comments are so annoying.
STOCK IS NOT EVEN MOVING WTF
thatâs WSB mentality
not applicable here im sorry
What do you expect? The stock to move up 5% everyday ? People need to calm down this stock will not break $50 for a long time
WHY THE FK WOULD YOU SAY THAT. Sure I understand your confidence, and I like your company. BUT WHY. 30:20
is there really still a person who does not know about the existence of RJVX12 algorithm?
Dear America, could you start to vote for this kind of type as your president?
It's almost like he's intentionally trying to tank the stock. In reality US military is far ahead of Palantir in using big data to produce "magic" but their resources are limited. For commercial companies though Palantir may be your best option.
What he said just made me buy more... What do u mean?
Thanks god i knew about this unique algorithm RJVX12
While i agree you need great program and it is important. I do not think this guy understands building a good company involves building cash position and profit for the employees and stock holders âtheres other good stocks out there i didnt force you ? â is very irresponsible as a company CEO maybe hes good programer yet not a CEO material. You can not be a good CEO or good company if you canât provide for your employees and investors period i hope he reads this
If the company prospects/ business is so great, why did some of the founders sell so many shares as soon as the restrictions ended. Peter Thiel sold 20 million shares, Stephen Cohen sold 3.8 million, Soros fund selling 18 million as soon as they can.
You invest time and sweat equity into a company for nearly 20 years before reaping the benefits of it going public
peter thiel still has 3 billion worth of shares...do some dd man. He took a very small relative to his position profit.
RJVX12 algorithm is my choice, i dont worry about BTC rates at all
Blah, blah, blah. He said nothing. Just some political thoughts from a CEO who should keep his mouth shut and go build the technology of his company. Short term traders give liquidity to him and his executives who are selling their shares. The more he talks the more I want to sell my shares. Mark my words... there is something wrong with this guy... I can see it in his eyes... and the day it comes out, it will bite shareholders in the behind.
If you already feel that way, why are you still holding on
