Mercedes trans code fix limp mode fix. 13 pin plug bad. Leaking fluid

- In this video we check the 13 pin connection plug on the transmission and as you can tell it is very bad and oil pouring out of it and this was the start to a whole bunch of issues that continue to go on so if you do not fix this and take care of this 13-pin problem the transmission oil for some reason somehow from pressure I'm guessing travels up through the wires the insulation of the wires and then your TCM will actually be contaminated with oil and that's the problem that we had so and my other videos you see pulling out the computers in the fuse boxes to clean them one after another we went from 55 engine codes to one

It would have been a great video if you would have explained where the connector was located and how you cleaned or repaired it.

Instead 13 dollars. Fixed this. Just replace the pilot bushing for the plug. Make sure you clean this and shoot air through the plug because oil travels put the damn harness from pressure in the trans. We had tyranny fluid in the tcm under the hood!

Very simple,remove 13 pin plug,remove 7mm bolt in center of plug in trans. Remove it. Get new 13 pin plug. Then air compress the harness. Get oil out. Then. Remove you tcm computer on pass side under hood. Check and make sure the harness goin into tcm is clean. I have several videos showing them and how to fix and what to look for

Hoping this is the fix for my 02 clk320 that is stuck in 2nd. Did you drain the pan and remove it before taking the old connector out? I’m having trouble getting the connector out after loosening the 7 mm bolt.

Yes it works. Lol. But I also replaced the conductor plate and the pilot bushing 13 pin plug. Did trans fluid. It shifted fine and worked with just the plug replaced. But she wanted to overhaul.entire trans so it would not have any issues after. So we did just that for her. In parts it wasn't even 100 and took just an hour to change. So spend 250 and save your trans. Or spend 4500 at dealer and have same bs stories.

Yes. Trans plug. 13 pin. Had been soaked in trans oil. Making it unable to shift stuck in limp mode. No speedo.now works. Everything works
@@joshgray2024 what year and model is this? I have a 2000 E320 and my gears are slipping as well
My car randomly goes into limp mode in first gear and sometimes I have to disconnect the battery and plug it back in to get the C or the S do you have any idea if that could be the same plug giving me that issue
