@@jamesclayton8724 could be, my dumbass decide to entirely skip the opening prologue and made it all the way to liyue without even meeting the full starting party, got lots of free rewards and quests that allowed me to level up my character to 20, and i hightailed it out of there once i found ruin guardians in the cloud mountains.

@@newbie6377 Stormterror is unlockable when you’re AR 18, so I’m guessing you haven’t gone to talk to Venti, Diluc, and Jean at the winery yet? It’s possible to just keep grinding instead of continuing on the main quest

The Mondstadt tracks are quite good, but I think a significant amount of the tracks were pretty generic.
The Liyue music on the other hand, is a really awesome fusion of various western and traditional chinese styles.

Hell yea. When i first started playing and running around mondtsat i was sayin the same. "Eh this soundtracks pretty good but kinda corny" then when i got to liyue that shit changed instantly. Lol
God, I love Liyue so much. Incredible landscapes and incredible music. I'm sad that I'll never be able to explore it again for the first time. At least there's other regions to look forward to in the future.
The latter because Liyue is a Chinese-inspired city which serves as the major trading hub, thus making it multicultural too.
Since Inazuma is inspired by Japan, I'm really wondering if they will top this with some Hiroyuki Sawano level of orchestration

Whenever I hear this song the character that pop into my head is Xiangling, I know that lorewise, she's not the most important figure in Liyue (unlike ningguang or keqing who's literally 2 of the 7 leader of liyue) but i feel that this battle theme represent Xiangling the most from her upbeat attitude, character design and fighting style somehow really match with the song
She's one of the main characters on my team because she's pretty strong and I just love her

It might be worth saying that the region itself is not so much based on or inspired by Japan, moreso China. Musically this is also true, as the instrumentation in the song uses a Guzheng and a Dizi, both of which are traditional Chinese instruments : )

We have a good mix right now, but I honestly can't imagine a pseudo America place without at least one spaghetti western gunslinger. Other weapon types that I could see being added are axes/hammers, caestus(for some lightning fast martial arts action), and whips.

@@AuraArondight I don't think that's a good idea. Sure, having lots of weapons is cool, but it would essentially be more of a limitation than anything else. "Oh, so you want to use your 5 star sword with this new character? Too bad! You will need to get an axe for him!" I think having different weapon types is necessary as far as they significantly change the gameplay, but after a certain point I think the small differences between them doesn't justify the drawbacks that come with adding new weapon types

Easily the best battle theme. Mondstat holds an emotional sentiment for me, but Liyue was completely action-packed, not to mention the colorful landscape. Free game, btw.
After many listens from gaming, I think this works better as a standalone piece. The other Liyue battle themes work well or maybe even better as battle themes, in the moment/game.
It helps that I think this OST version just sounds better than the one in the game?
