      Paddocks getting bigger all the time now with no sheep. Nothing to see paddocks at 400ha and some are up over 2000ha.

      @@BenCrosthwaite1 Wow, a single field (paddock) of 2000 ha. Thats probably bigger than 99% of farms in the UK.

    Interesting video Ben! How many times do they deep ripping? And is it not more efficient to deep ripping and seeding in one pass?

      Mostly four years between ripping. A couple of reasons why it would be better not seed at the time, it would be very hard to get the timing right because it is so slow, depth control and seed bed would be hard to get right, some of the country would be too hard unless heavy rain had fallen.
