      Me too! I settled for a nice LOOKING Daytona 400 which I never could get right and finally sold and bought a Honda Interceptor ...should have held out ffinding a good RZ! Which all I came across were either trashed and/or grossly overpriced....I still would have gravitated to 4 stroke but would at least have got to taste the RZ first ....I also fantasized on squiring grey market RZ500 or RG500 Suzuki but they were through the ROOF price wise and might have been a nightmare to get parts for

    It would be awesome to see some vlogs with this bad ass machine running around and you on it! I was watching an Instagram clip with my brother and he showed me this! I had no idea they existed. He and I have banshees that we were gifted brand new. I’m 28, he’s 26. The RZ350 was before our time but we can very much appreciate them having our banshees.

    • @3ftDeepChannel
      @3ftDeepChannel  Před 4 lety +1

      We never thought about doing a VLOG, primarily because there are so many out there, and we figured no one wanted to hear us speak (that's why we've got the music, instead). I guess with these classic machines though, as so few people will get to ride or hear them that's something we can do for our viewers. We'll look into getting a VLog system. Thanks for your comment!

      @@3ftDeepChannel I am now 66. Last year I bought a Yamaha FZ 250 ( Made in India) after selling my BMW R1150RT & a Honda Nighthawk 250. I just need something to move around now.
      The Yamaha dealer has an RZ350 showcased among the latest models. Unrestored, it is in pretty good condition.
      I am certain that it is the only remaining one in our island. Aside from the public not liking motorcycles, two strokes are extremely rare.

      Hey, thanks for the kind words. We're doing okay, I guess. Probably about the same as Ireland, and looking forward to seeing the end of this self-isolation. The good news is we've got a lot of new PWC videos coming. I slow it down to 1 per month from November 1 to end of April, but then there will be 2 coming every month from May 1 to end of October. For the next little while we'll be alternating motorcycle and PWC videos, as there are only so many how-to PWC videos that we have the opportunity to make. Feel free to let us know if there's anything you'd like to see, as we consider that when we're about to tear into a ski. Take care!

    Such a shame we lost two strokes ...they were just starting to get really really good too....so much potential was never realized. Couple of my all time favorite street bikes that I did own were the Yamaha R5 and then an RD ....then I got married with kids buying a house and working OT just to make ends meet and had to take a break from motorcycles ...by the time I was ready to get back in the RZ was out of production and already going for top dollar on the used market ...95% kid owned and trashed AND going for premium resale so instead I went brand new Honda Interceptor in '85 and sadly missed the RZ altogether...judging from the 2 stroke race bikes production 2 stroke street bikes would have been fabulous motorcycles! There was some very fast 500cc two strokes that never made it to the US ...damn it!
