- Owyhee Canyonlands and Leslie Gulch. This only covers a small part of the Owyhee area in Oregon. The Owyhee Canyonlands cover parts of Oregon, Idaho, and Nevada. This area roughly follows the path of the Owyhee River and part of Owyhee Lake.

thanks for all the good scenes
Thanks. We are going out there from Portland. Soon. My wife says we wait until it warms back up. Spring.
That's awesome...nice way to comment with some geological history.
Hey ! Nice video. I’m getting ready to do this trip from Seattle in August with my wife and my dog. What’s the name of that 50 yr old campground ?
Slocum Campground
@@metaglypto Thank you !!!!!
Ohh and btw, is it dispersed (free) ?
@@rafaalmonacid1182 I just realized that was at a different spot. That campground is at Hole-in-the-ground. Two campgrounds at or near Leslie Gulch. Slocum about 1/4 away from Lake Owyhee, and Succor Creek about 20 miles away.
Oregon is the best state.
Did you happen to go down where the Leslie Gulch road leads to Slocum Campgrounds? My dad has hunted for Chukar for over 45 years and goes every October camp also. Its a great experience and pictures don't do justice.
Yes, and I have camped at Slocum Campground.
Did the FBI get triggered by this?
Not that I am aware of. They and the security guards at McNary Dam, just don't like me using the photo blinds they have set up for doing photography
