I know we're all in lockdown, however what's entirely possible is remote viewer participation just like this.
If you'd like to feature your car on this channel please send me a video at maxrevscars@gmail.com
I have the goal to create the World's LARGEST collection of Porsche Cayman owner videos!! Let's make this happen people!

A lovely Cayman, Jim, and in fantastic condition! Thanks for sharing it with us.
thanks max and jim
Beautiful car!!! Loved it.
Beautiful Cayman with some lovely extras fitted to it - your wife clearly has great taste! Such low milage too. Hold on to it, keep it well maintained and it will reward you! Great content.
Thanks. I'm definitely planning to keep it a very, very long time.
EXTREMELY well done car. Love the black side vents and new front grills👍🏾👍🏾. Keep me coming ppl
Thanks! I really like the blacked out vents as well. I never really liked the silver vents. They always looked very plastic-y or something to me. But some people love them, so to each his own.
Jim Corrigan No problem at all. It’s true
Love the blue. I too bought mine a out of state from Florida to Utah.
Thanks for all the great comments guys. I really appreciate it!
This is what makes the channel. Real people engaging with real people about their cars. Great to get videos and great to see the engagement👍🏼
Yours looks disturbingly like my own car's spec. 07 base in cobalt blue with sport-chrono instead of the sport seats, same 'S' wheels, and quite a few more miles on the clock. If you don't have kids to haul about, these make for one hell of a daily driver.
Beautiful color, although I am very biased, it's the same as mine 👍
I bought my Cayman from a Porsche dealer, but have purchased a Mercedes and a BMW from CarMax in the past and have had great experiences, the warranty is well worth it. I had not heard of a sprint booster before, interesting. Enjoy
Beauty!
i have heard some nice stories about CarMax and have been thinking about getting a car from them as well. I think they give you 5 days to return it for a full refund. That is a perfect time to get a PPI done to make sure everything looks good. Their warranty as you stated is solid.
No mention of what blue it is? Cobalt? And no mention of mileage, perhaps the most important detail? Oddly, I am also in Michigan (southwest) and, have a base Cayman--987.2, Aqua Blue Metallic, 82k miles--with the sport steering wheel (round center). That steering wheel was a mandatory "have" for me. Anyway, good luck with the car. They really are excellent sports cars.
Beautiful cayman! I had a base guards red 08 with the 5 spd, traded it in recently for a 17 carrera. Max should I try and make a video of it or it this channel for caymans only?
Dude make the video please!! Before lockdown I was going to visit a guy with a BMW to make a video. This channel is not exclusive to any one car. We need to focus on the enjoying life part, irrespective of sports car.
You have to put the GT4 vent scoops .... make a world of a difference
What extended warranty company did you go with and any particular package from them?
Another Cayman in MI! I was hoping to find others! What warranty company did you use? I have '07 CS. Thanks.
There are a few of us Michiganders around. There is actually a twin to my car up in the UP, although it may be an S. I've not met the owner, but she posts on facebook sometimes. I believe the warranty company is called "MaxCare". It's whatever Carmax offers in-house. They really try to push it on you because I think it's a real money maker for them when it comes to normal cars. For a standard car, I don't know if it's worth it. But for anything slightly exotic (read, expensive to fix anything), I'd highly recommend it.
@@jimcorrigan2269 Thank you and I hope we can meet up at a Cars & Coffee if they ever return. I'm in the Tri-cities and my Porsche is less than a month old to me. I love it and I'm in the PCA and Cayman Registry.
Hi nice vid, I also thought the thin steering wheel was let down so got mine wrapped in Alcantara and highly recommend that. What’s a sprint booster and much does it roughly cost to add?
Sprinter booster reprograms the throttle response. It’s fly-by-wire.
MAX REVS with all these USA followers you got to do a USA road trip visiting all these USA cayman owners and obviously take some uk cayman owners on the road trip - next year!!!
😁
As Max said, the Sprint Booster remaps the throttle response. It just makes the throttle respond more quickly to inputs. The latest version has about 20 setting, from barely noticeable to barely controllable, LOL. If I remember, I paid about $280.
MAX REVS Yes Max, Parvin is right
I never understand why people are so secretive about the purchase price?...I bought a Volvo C 70 convertible from Carmax $17,000 for my Florida car and did not mind paying the premium for the ease and service. I am looking to buy a cayman possibly from them and it would help if you shared the purchase info, you don’t seem to mind sharing the cost of warranty. Always bugs me that the purchase price is not shared as I continue my search.
Blue is rare....I would say about 2-3%
Yeah cuz is less desirable.
