I get 5-7 sessions on the 3Rs before the fronts cord depending on track temperature. But I'm usually in the top 5 fastest guys at my local events. Those are full 20 minutes sessions. To fix your understeer problem on the Toyos you could experiment with tire pressure. Maybe run them 2psi lower than the rears.
I used to have the MP4S. My issue with them was poor steering feel and too soft for spirited driving. My favorite tires are the Falken RT660. (305/30/19 and 315/30/19). These run wide so definitely sits meaty on our wheels. Easily the best steering wheel and grip of any tire I’ve had on the street and the best part - you can track them as well! Trust me you won’t regret it. Please also share your track alignment as well.
Thanks! I have the same rims on a 2021 LT1 and I run 33-35 cold rear- front so Just getting an idea what others are running .. I have Michelin Pilot 4s they have a good road feel but generate a bit of road noise Love them other than that.
I have driven the cup2 on track not cup2r. Both of those cup tire are very good on track. But i haven’t personally used a set on track. The supercar3 seem similar in performance to cup2.
Great video!
Good review

Those would be awesome on my 2016 Silver Honda Accord!!! - aka the Silver Bullet...

Yep sidewalls are soft on mp4s! I run 0 toe front -2.7 camber f and -2.0 r
Do you think the Toyo RR are good for street straight line pulls? Are they hard compound or soft
so which one i should get for street/ track tire?
What are your alignment specs on the Hoosiers
I wanna run Toyo rr 345-30r19 (rear) and 305-30r19 (front) do you think the 1in difference in height will cause abs problems?
It will work, but you have to move wire on driver side
I heard the best combo is Toyos rear MP4’s front
For street/drag roll racing yep it works
what tire pressure do you run on the street ? Is it the same as the track?
Depends on the tire, but track can be R7 25 cold, sc3r 28 cold, street 30 psi cold on average.

I'm surprised you haven't tried the CUP2s. Cup2 R will change your world and your bank acct.

650hp at the crank
Nothing fits in the trunk of a Camaro 😂
Wrong. Trunk: One front tire + tools + lawnchair for track days. I vertically stack my 3 track wheels/tires in the backseat. Who needs a trailer 😅
@@AllIsWell_22 a trailer will take more time off your lap times than tires will 😁
What the best all season tire that can take the higher speeds?
