- Attention: Only Purchase this electric bike from seller "FunHang Bike". There are scammers trying to sell the same bike on the same listing page. Even when you click on the affiliate link below, you will sometimes see the $55 option pop-up in the color selection. Those options are not from "FunHang Bike". You will notice that once you click on the $55 options, the seller will switch to something else or no seller name at all. FunHang bike is a great bike at a good price. It was at $419 (Bike + shipping excluding taxes) when I purchased mine but it looks like the price is now up at $469. It is still cheaper than other bike with similar configuration. But make sure to check the seller name before you hit the add to cart button and only buy directly from seller "FunHang Bike".
In this video, we will going to assemble and review the features of the Funhang 26 inch Adult Electric Bicycle. This is the best priced electric bike that I found in Amazon with all the features that I was looking for. Even after paying for shipping, this comes in at $100 cheaper compared to other brands.

ATTENTION: Yesterday and earlier this morning, there was a couple of listing on this same bike selling it for $55.00 with no shipping. One of the comments below asked if it is real. At first I did not see it then it appears again after a few hours so I grab the opportunity to get a 2nd bike. Amazon cancelled that order and I also got an email saying that the sellers account where I purchased the second bike is closed. If you look at the listing now, Funhang put a note alerting buyers of a scam seller selling the bike at significantly lower price. Thanks to Amazon for its quick action closing the scam sellers account and to Funhang for protecting their brand and alerting customers.
Make sure you check the Seller and only buy from "FunHang Bike" before you click the add to cart button. When you click on the $55 option, you will notice that the seller will switch from "FunHang Bike" to something else. This is an Amazon feature for seamless buying experience but unfortunately it is being exploited by scammers. Funhang Bike now have an Attention notice on their listing confirming that a scam seller is offering the same product at a much lower price on their listing page. Remember that if it is too good to be true, it probably is. I got excited about the price that I never noticed the seller switch and almost become a victim. The good thing is that Amazon did not charge my card since the product was never shipped.

I bought 2 of the $55 ones and they shipped it. And then refunded it to me, but my account still says it was shipped and still kn the way even though I was refunded

@@brendonsheppard7189 Make sure you contact Amazon if they haven't cancelled the order yet. The $55 is known as scam. The listing page already have that warning in red and bold letters.
I purchased two gas generators for $55.00 each from two separate sellers. I later contacted Amazon and let them know that it is a scam and that for one of the generators I cancelled it before the seller shipped it, but the seller still shipped it, Amazon refunded my money for the first gas generator. Amazon mentioned that they couldn't cancel the other one as it has shipped. Two days later I noticed that the other seller cancelled their Amazon account, I contacted Amazon and informed them of it and they refunded back the money for the second gas generator.

@@diymanual I love how little noise the engine makes. That was an unexpected plus.
Did you have to adjust your gearing at all? My only complaint is I can't get one of the left handle gears to engage fully on the highest gear, so it might need a tweak. I mostly just use the throttle anyway, but it'd be nice to be able to help the motor out at higher speeds.

@@Cloud-wh6np No. I'm surprised that the bike is tuned really well. I did not have to make any adjustment. Maybe try to contact the manufacturer and see what type of help their support department can do to get it working properly?

@@diymanual I'm an idiot.... I turned the left handle barrel adjuster counter clockwise quite a bit. That seemed to fix the issue. 🤦♂️ I finally got to the highest cog in front, and can finally pedal the bike beyond its max speed

Hi! Make sure you did not purchase the $55 that keeps popping up. Those are from a different seller and is a scam. Funhang Bike is the only seller for this bike. If you click on the $55 you will notice that the seller is different or will not even show. Amazon will cancel the $55 sale but if they haven't yet, you can contact them to cancel.
How is this bike now that youve had it for one month? Still holdin up, any problems?
No problem so far. Battery is still performing well and bike is still the same as when I first got it.

Did you purchase directly from Funhang Bike or Funhang Direct or did you try to get the $55 scam that are being discussed in the comment section. If you believed you've been scammed please report it to Amazon.
The company ship the product to you from City of Industry in Los Angeles via FedEx. They should have a tracking number available in Amazon. Depending on when you order, you should receive a tracking number within 24 hours and receive the product within a week.
After riding this around for a bit, and ordering a shit load of accessories (like a rear rack, handle bar extension, and other toys) I'll make a vid of my own and show you guys what you're missing out on.

@@diymanualI tried they say they don’t sell parts. It wasn’t easy getting ahold of them thru Amazon either. After having the bike awhile I wouldn’t suggest buying one. Anything over 15mph is too rough on the bike in city conditions. Remember everything “critical” is in rear rim and battery. That rear rim takes a beating and if I can’t fix it, at some point it’ll be scrap unless I baby the bike. Pothole=bent rim. Pothole=blown inner tube.
@@user-sm3vh8qu6y Thanks for sharing. You are correct, it will be hard to maintain a bike without replacement parts. Hope that seller will sell proprietary parts in their Amazon store. I have driven this to 21 mph with a small incline and it was smooth.
@@diymanualdon’t get me wrong it’s a lot of fun and if rode on smooth conditions could last a long while. I bought a replacement controller off Amazon and got just over 25mph. You’d be surprised what a difference that extra 5 is. Riding on sidewalks, 25 is too fast. Way too fast. I put it down a level when on sidewalks and stay at 15. On smooth paved park paths I can open it up but battery goes fast. I’d give anything to find another battery that will fit on my bike. The problem is they’re so f-ing expensive and non-returnable so it’s a big gamble. In 2024 you’d think it would be easy but there are hundreds of manufacturers and styles. Maybe in a year or so they’ll realize that there’s more money in selling batteries and make them available. I’m not looking to change out wiring and mount plus spend $600 for the privilege just to get another battery. It’s a shame they are so fun but really limits your travel range. I’m not looking to peddle those days are over. Going down a level really extends the battery life just a bit of advice. Lose 10mph but go a lot farther

@@EdiBravo nope. I just checked and it's currently $269 + $170 shipping. It's probably an error on their end..I noticed price change almost daily but it now totals between $429 to $439 if you add the price of bike and shipping cost. I got my bike in 3 days cause the warehouse it's shipped from is just in the City of Industry in LA. Which is basically about 2 hours away. FedEx delivered the product the next day after they pick it up from their warehouse.

Do I need a bike chain?
Look at this as hybrid bike. It does have all the component of a regular bike plus a motor and battery built in. You can choose to pedal manually, with help from motor or full motor. So, yes it does have a chain. Now if you are looking for a chain to lock it, then that will depend on where you use and park your bike. If you are concern about the battery getting stolen, it does come with a key to lock it in place. Hope this helps.

No. Seller said that another seller is trying to place a discounted product in their listing. They have a note in the description. I tried buying that also and my purchase was cancelled.

Because my order got cancelled and Funhang seller is clear that the low price bike is not theirs.

@@cl9170 That is an Amazon issue. They should not allow other sellers item to be listed on the same product listing page or at least have a more visible alert when a seller changed when you clicked on a product.
It’s usually advisable to NEVER spend anything not even a penny under $1,000 to purchase a cheap electric bike and yes $1k for a electric bike is already dirt cheap. If you’re going anywhere less than one grand then you’re taking tons of compromises and drawbacks, literally no way around that. At least that’s what I heard from many electric bike experts and gurus out there. The steep upfront costs and long charge time is what is keeping me from ever buying a electric bike.
