Do you think this e-bike would last taking me to work 3-4 days a week around 15-20 mile rides to work and back home total? Also do you have any information on how many recharges the battery is rated for? If not could you give me the name of the battery so I can do my own research on it? This is the most price friendly bike u can get ,, I priced out a conversion kit for my regular bike at $375-480,00 and for under $500 you get this really nicely built complete bike, it is awesome the only thing i did replace was the handlebar goose neck for a longer one and the seat was uncomfortable , but other then that i enjoy it very much and no issues yet after almost 5 months of use ,, 👏🏼👏🏼👍🏼👍🏼

I put about 1100 miles on mines over the course of about 6 months. I have the 500w 48v model of this and Still going strong. I usually wipe it down after every ride, only got caught in rain 3 times ( had bike poncho on so bikes barely got wet but still). Caught a flat within the first month due to unlucky glass but other than that, nothing else has crapped out as of yet.
Only real annoyance was fixing the flat because it was the rear wheel, which is a genuine pain to remove and reinstall due to the wires and whatnot back there. But once you do it once, you'll have a good idea on how to do it again easier the next time. All in all, it's a decent bike for the price.

Bought one of these today and will add a panniers digital camouflage bag to the back and will camouflage the bike as well and use it for going through some areas bigger vehicles don't function as well in for hunting... and such and putting a carbon fiber seat on mine to match my carbon fiber and titanium left leg since I lost it in 2018 below the knee... have another mountain bike but will see how this works. Will change out the pedals as well for spiked versions because of my amputated left leg to hold it onto the pedal better... but seems from reviews to be a popular E-Bike... thanks for your review.

@@AlbertKimTV bought RockBro Pedals for it as well as rear view mirrors and phone holder for GPS and such. All that should arrive around the time of the TopGuard bike arrives... have a rack for the back that will hold 130 lbs of weight to add to it that will arrive some time today and going to paint all that stuff in a pattern that matches my gear for hunting seasons here. I'll try to post a video of all the modifications when I'm done with it but not a big video making guru myself although I do know how to use some digital video editing stuff but in my career was involved as a graphic designer in the four color printing world of high end lithographic printing for the golf industry and more. I used to design golf score cards and more for courses all over this planet and worked as a designer before that as well for Conoco Oil... kind of funny thinking about it I'm buying an electric bike now when my jobs in the past were promoting the oil industry... LOL! Any way, wish you the best today and reviewed your video again today... for some thoughts for making the E-Bike better for what I plan on doing with it. I like the fact I don't have to buy insurance on it like a motorcycle or plate, or insurance if I collide with a tree and all that junk... will try to avoid that but any way thank you again for your video work. Great review, looking at getting this one once I sell my electric scooter! This is very cheap for an e-bike and is perfect for me since I am on a budget! I also need a e-bike that can be put on a bus rack! I like that the battery can be removed. I was looking at a similar price e-bike but the battery was built in so there was no way of replacing battery which is a shame as it was a nice looking bike! Thanks again 👍

I know I am really late and asking this question but I've been doing my research cuz I'm looking to actually purchase this bike I'm curious from you having it I am 5 ft 11 in tall and was curious if you think this bike would be the right size? I love the video and I am subscribing now and thank you very much for a well-informed video.
What I did was took it to my local bike shop and they put on a extender on the handle bars so that way I’m not leaning over too much… I normally ride a 29 but this 27.5 feels like nothing changed and loved it…
I am 6 feet tall. The front handlebar is a little low but there are extensions you can get that cost under $50.

I bought this bike under a different name, (PEXMOR) literally the same bike though lol. I found 30ah batteries for these that use exactly the same water bottle mounting hardware even. I was thinking about getting one as it would effectively triple my range which is actually already really good. I ride it 20 miles round trip from work and it uses about 20% of the 13ah battery, and that is me running it wide open, full assist the entire time. I am sure it would push range well into the 150 mile range 😅

Tires 26 inches. Width is not labelled on the tire but about 2 inches is about right. I am 6 feet tall.

Bro honestly I just ride this for recreation. I'll sometimes ride with the motor off get a little sweat going and then turn it on so I have no idea what range it has.
The most I've ridden is probably 6 mi with probably half of it with the motor off and the other half just strictly the motor

Yes, it's a great value at $500 considering a lot of other similar bikes are a lot more.

Perhaps a little depending on the terrain conditions. Dirt trails are probably OK. Rock trails probably not.

@@moneymker18 It'll be perfect for you. I have the 500w 48v modelba nd Im 150 ( typically carry about 5-10lbs of crap in my bookbag for work) and commute 5 miles one way to work. I usually ride to work, then after my shift I take a 5 mile detour to my local park, then I'll cruise all the way home, usually ending the night at around 22miles ridden with just under half battery left ( 54.8voltsge at full battery, ends night around 46 volts). So you will have no issue riding to and from work on a single charge but I'll admit, I usually bring my charger with me to work anyways since the bike feels the best in the upper range of the battery charge ( anywhere between 49-54 volts). You definitely get more torque and zippiness when closer to full but even as the battery gets lower, you still can hit top speed relatively quick,just with a tad less but oomph if that makes sense.
Sounds like it's worth it's price

I asked about that and the manufacturer didn't reply. The electronic controller looks like a generic one on a lot of other ebikes. I suspect you can probably find information on it if you find one that looks like it on another bike and see if anyone posted information about that.

Great video!! How do you activate the pure electric mode? The manual for the bike is missing a lot of info.
Pure electric mode is active by default. You just have to be in pedal assist level 1 and hit the throttle and it will just go.

I am thing on getting this bicycle ebike my evelo bicycle foldable finally broke on me and now needing a bike to get around town and as well school. is the bike still working well as of today and is there any type of maintenance require daily. It can take some amount of abuse but I wouldn't push it too far.

You have to swap out the bike controller and display.
I don't understand the left shifter, why is there nine settings but only three front gears?
21-speeds, 3 gears in the front, 7 in the back. The left shifter controls the three front gears. The right shifter controls the 7 in the back.

Yep still works great. Just don't ride it in a down pour as it's not waterproof.

I'd say up to a 10-15 degree incline is no problem if you gear down and use max power while pedaling.

I would look at the min/max seat height in the product specs as a guide. The tire size doesn't mean that much.

The lowest seat height is 33 inches from the ground (without any seat post attatchments), with a minimum leg inseam length of 28-29 inches. I've had mine for over a year and it still works great.

That is actually a class 2 bike not a class 1 a class 1 is pedal assist only class 2 is pedal assist and throttle and class 3 is throttle only

The one in the video that I rode is 26 inch but it is also sold as a 27.5 inch wheel variant if you see what is listed in the link on Amazon.

Yeah, for the money it ticks most of the boxes but it isn't gonna blow any one's socks off. You'll need to go up in price point to get impressed.
I wish I seen this bike on Amazon before I bought the one I did. Could of saved $200 and it the same bike.
There are a lot of similar models with a wide variety of prices. Common thing to see on Amazon and not just for eBikes.
Seems like a lot of bike for the $. Compared to some of the fancier ones, it looks easier to pedal uphill. 🚴🛴🚁 If AK keeps review Ming all of this tech, he’s gonna need a bigger garage.
