It worked perfect on my Golf. The white wheel was completely out and dropped when I opened the cover mat. Placed it back and voila! Thanks . Saved who knows how much!
Thanks, this helped me in solving the left and right, hot and cold issue. More than 6 months ago I found the gear falling in the foot area and wondered where it came from. Didnt notice anything was wrong until it became winter 😂
In my case, when I took the cover off, the gears had fallen out, and it took some effort to get them back in place, but it seems to be working again. This helped a lot, thank you.

@@ivicaslavkovski3251 As I know, Audi, VW, Skoda, etc. share a lot, including problems :) My Octavia 2015 was blowing cold from passenger side (no matter how I set the temp) but it could blow hot on the driver side. I opened the lock below glove compartment and found out that the gear was misplaced. So I placed it back and problem solved

What do you mean it doesn’t work? It doesn’t blow air? Probably need to replace the vent itself if ac is actually working in the car but not coming out of one vent.
Did you ever solve your problem? I have exact same problem, air on passenger side is warm and on driver side its cool. I looked at the driver side temp air flap motor and that seems to be working fine. I tried adding more refrigerant and seemed like it solved it but problem came right back.

It blows air, but the air only comes from the floor vents by the feet and by the windshield defrost vents (sufficient airflow by the way). Salut don' Gheorghe.Am considerat ca majoritatea oamenilor inteleg engleza de"balta", si este de la sine inteles cum se poate repara temporar, doar trebuie sa te uiti la video. si cred ca pe youtube daca scrii problema in engleza, primesti mai multe rezultate. O zi buna!
That's not 'fix it' at all. The segment sprockets are now out of line so the fan duct will open/close too much and overshoot again, that's why this has happened. That little tab needs to line up with the segment. so get back and, 'fix it' again.
Right, that problem it s not fixed permanent , in a while you have to fix it again … that s a vw factory problem . Or you have to stick with a glue or somerhing… good look!

@@Mostafavi12 i solve the problem, believe it or not it was the heating unit ( radiator ) was jammed, i cleaned it and now it is fine :-)

Most probably are broken 2 motorflap. That’s why it’s working only 2 vents… these are the most problem on Golf7…

Its more difficult though. How did you manage to position yourself to get to the gear. Were you lying on your back, side?

Da trebuie sincronizat pinionul din motoras cu pinionul de la flap are el o pozitie
I think that is not the recirculation flap as you say in the video title , that one is on the right side of the fan close to the air filter

This is NOT the front air distribution motor, it IS the passenger side temperature flap motor. You're welcome.
