I worked with a BC guy up in Northern Alberta years ago. He was an avid hiker and camper in BC. He showed me pics and video of a pair of sasquatch he seen one day on a rock slide in BC. His jeep was stuck in a creek at the time, and he and his buddy watched the squatch for almost ten minutes. Although they were a long ways off in the video, I'm convinced they weren't bears. Bears couldn't go that far on hind legs on a rock slide.

There's a Sasquatch living in the Malcolm Knapp Research Forest in Maple Ridge , British Columbia. Know of 2 people that have seen it and had rocks thrown at them and followed while hiking the trails . I've heard something roar that resembled King Kong or a T Rex dinosaur from 5 kms away. I felt the soundwave hit and rumbled my guts . He's up there.

Several years ago I stayed there in the woods on top of the mountain over night in my car. I haven’t noticed anything suspicious accept for when I got out of the car in the middle of night to take piss. It was so quiet as if I was in soundproof recording studio. I’d been multiple times in the woods at night and normally it has lots of forest sounds. But this time it was deadly quiet.

Thank you for including the interview about PTSD. I have thought about this and imagine it must be any extra layer of hell to be constantly told your trauma isn't real because big foot isn't real. Or to never even express your trauma because of how people will react.

As an individual who has spent 30+yrs in the avian field. Dealing hands on with everything from Warblers to Birds of Prey. I have to say that BC is one of my favorite spots when i'm out in the field doing research. It is just breathtakingly beautiful folks. Your in absolute awe of how vast the territory is. But at the same time how lush and forested it is as well. Just an awesome spot for birding or any wildlife viewing for that matter. So that all said, there is no doubt in my mind that there are Squatches living in this habitat. It's ideal for them they would have everything they need and then some.

Im 97.6%sure I was bieng followed by a Sasquatch when I was hitchiking through Canmore Alberta in October 1988. At dusk on the Trans Canada Highway and "something" ,was walking in the treeline 20 yards behind me to my right ,crushing leaves, snapping sticks as it walked.I almost sh*t myself in fear when I heard it,I ended up taking off my running shoes and walking in my socks( too make less noise on the highway ffs),then it wasnt there anymore.
I distinctly remember those footfalls, they were a heavy step and maybe 2-3 seconds apart, when I stopped they stopped(thats when I took off my shoes and started sh#t) I started walking again scared outta my mind and ready to run like the wind...but then it was gone.
I got picked up in barefeet holding my shoes.

Cool! My home province so rarely gets any time in the spotlight. It's hard to conceive of just how unbelievably immense our wilderness is. It's like an untouched continent all unto itself. With very nearly every type of biome and terrain imaginable from deserts to glaciers to tundra to temperate rain forests, etc... Our small, scattered communities barely interrupt any of it.
If there's an undiscovered great ape, or any other large animal, then this is the best place that it could thrive and successfully hide in. And our first nations communities have been fostering stories and carving artifacts about Sasquatch supposedly going back many centuries or longer.
I lean toward belief while remaining skeptical. Which is a ringing endorsement in such an proof scarce subject.

As a (mostly ) lifelong resident of beautiful British Columbia and having spent my early years in the heavily forested interior and coastal northern regions I can tell you with 100% confidence that any animal can easily hide and remain hidden if it wants to. A minimally intelligent Sasquatch could be standing literally meters from you and the only inkling you’d have that something was there would be a pungent odour, which would be dismissed as coming from a bear, skunk cabbage or some other composting organic matter.
One thing that’s always made me open to the possibility of a Sasquatch is something my dearly departed grandfather asked me many many years ago. He said “In all my years of living in the bush and hunting big game from the northernmost regions to the southern Fraser Valley area I’ve never seen a dead bear, cougar, wolf or ANY predatory animals carcass laying around… but I know they’re there somewhere.”
In the wild woods and mountains most animal encounters can be counted in seconds. I couldn’t count the times I was walking around hunting or getting to my favourite fishing spot on the river when an explosion of feathers and beating wings right beside me as a perfectly camouflaged grouse decided to scare me shitless! By the time my brain realized it was a damn bush chicken it was loooooong gone.
So if someone finally stumbled upon a Sasquatch I wouldn’t be surprised at all.

My uncle was the second to see one and he wouldn't hunt after that. Both men had sterling reputations for not lying or exaggeration. It's a much drier climate on this side of the mountains, I have always wondered if they saw a migrating squanito.

I believe folks describe them as human-like, not Ape, when listening to encounters with these forest beings. They all describe having hair, not fur, when mentioning what they witnessed. I traveled to BC last year for a week of ATVing. My guide beleiievd in them when we trail road in Whistler Valley. He mentioned the forest valley had been harvested several times, but beyond the valley, ski condos and highways, these beings have all that land to explore.

@@jerrybartlett273they most likely aren't just a species of ape but since one hasnt been caught and studied, no one knows what they are. If someone or a group is telling you they know what they are, they're either lying or been lied to. Sorry to tell you but Matthew Johnson is certifiable. These beings, whatever they are, are just fresh and blood hominids and not from portals or another planet. Johnsons a grifter who provided no evidence for his claims and no other researcher supports his views.

At about 57min on the powerline he mentioned the Deer lake trail.
Im shocked he never mentioned the frightening encounter that occurred not that many years ago of a well known local couple that were bluff charged on that trail.
I won't get into all the details here and most of the online info regarding it has been removed by request of them but I have much knowledge about it and have seen and heard things a few times as well.
That trail is the far boundary and I've spent many creepy nights there.
The lake campground has a long history or events and early morning long distance howls which I've also heard.
Unfortunately the area above the lake was hit hard by logging a couple years ago.

Pasayten valley southeast of Manning Park headquarters along monument 83 trail there was something enormous that walked by our camp in the middle of the night. We had been flown in by heli constructing the trail for some time so were nearing the international boundary as i recall. This was 1973 BC Parks Branch trail crew led by Joe Hilton. We were fully outfitted with tents etc but tended to sleep under large spruce trees. We had a canvas tarp up for kitchen duty. The ground shook when this thing came through. It was bush whacking but no sound of cracking branches or such which was very odd. Just these heavy earthshaking footsteps. We lay in our sleeping bags afraid to breath let along peer out from under the spruce. It was totally dark out so wouldnt have seen much anyway. Have always thought if it was a bear it would have trashed our food cache but nothing was disturbed. It was those heavy footsteps and ya we were sleeping on cheap foamies that put our ears right on the ground but whatever it was had to be gigantic. Have wondered all these years what that was.

This is an excellent movie. Really well done. An excellent effort. Good to see the filmmaker getting out into the field and really trying his utmost to generate some meaningful information. Talking to the right people, like Thomas. No better researcher than Thomas. But it’s sad to see they don’t see the pattern. None of them. This thing isn’t out there full-time. They won’t find it out there, waiting for them. At best, it’s only out there part time. Dont ask why, that’s a fact that emerges as a pattern of the sightings. “Stick to the facts and never deviate from the facts” can be misleading, for it may prevent one from following unlikely leads. If tested, some of those leads may prove to be factual. The revelation of these facts ties into what is happening all over the world today. Like it or not, we are going to be seeing the exposure of facts that have remained partially of fully hidden from sight, for many years. I bet my life on that.

I'm very familiar with the Mount Currie Area northeast of Pemberton, which is 20km north of Whistler Ski Resorts. I hiked from Duffey Lake (ne of Mount Currie) through Blowdown Creek up Stein Mountain, down to the Stein River and eventually going east to Lytton B.C. (65km), took me 5 days. I went unprepared because I should have brought bear spray and a shot gun as I ran into bear on the north side of the river just before the cable crossing. I do recall something following me with bipedal foot steps when I was descending Stein Mountain. Got caught up in a real mess of Devil's Club and ravines on each side. God was with me. 5 years later I went through again with a girl friend. Things were easier the second time around. I knew about the sightings but didn't pay it much mind. This was all in the 1980's.

They are a highly intelligent human-like species that has been on the planet at least as long as we have, and they deserve our respect.

The next night when I arrived I saw in that same area of the sky what looked like a very bright dust cloud shaped like a creature with feathers or fur (the size of the moon for scale ) moving very fast from high up all the way down behind the horizon, and then 5 minutes later horizontal along the horizon, very fast like shooting star. I called it albino sasquatch haha, many shooting stars that night. The third night I saw the first bright star come out after sunset on the Lake, just above the mountain ridge, I watched it for a couple minutes, it was flickering then all of a sudden it moved quickly to the side then up couple hundred feet and then shot straight down behind the mountains all in less than 1 second.
