This whole video is trying to stir up crap and create controversy. Listen Bruce when he actually says these things. You can tell by the tonality that he is totally fine and isnt whining like this video suggesrs.
He sounded annoyed if you actually watched the interview. You thought he was happy about not being invited?

I’ve met Ace and Bruce and ran live sound for both. Bruce is nice, who I only worked for once and I didn’t get to hangout with him. But Ace I have worked for over 15 times and hung out before and afterwards with. Ace is the nicest guy ever. Warren Huart of Produce like a Pro also speaks highly of Ace.
Love Bruce, his contribution to KISS and also his follow up career.

Bruce is respectful in that interview. I think what it highlights though that the KISS show has a tight running order (maybe because of click or guide tracks) and it doesn't allow for the flexibility of 'guests', because that would require a totally organic performance without any assisted augmented music and vocals tracks.
That's exactly my take away as well. It has become polished and mechanical, not spontaneous. Which, to be fair, there's nothing wrong with, but it precludes people like Ace, Peter and Bruce getting up there and trying to do what they're suppossed to do. Play live, organic music. At least i hope that that's the case, if not it's pretty petty.
They aren't guide tracks. They're straight up lip synching at this point. There's numerous videos showing them screw up the track and exposing their Milli Vanilli act.
I worked at a hotel kiss stayed there Stanley and Simmons had nice suites while Bruce and Eric Carr had regular rooms never saw that before

Ironic since KISS brought out members of Def Leppard to play on stage with them a few years ago when they toured together. A few minutes with previous members at their last two shows wouldn't have killed them, and it would have been a great moment for everyone

Who would leave a band.. having nothing to do with them anymore & continually honor & represent them every year .. on a boat? Someone who loves the fans & is proud of his work & his contributions in their success! That would take a special kind of person to represent a band that pushed him aside temporarily for an original 4 tour & not ask him to rejoin in their successful run when the fiasco came to a close! Bruce is the legend here & a class act! It's not the band he still represents! The band that gave him the high hard one after he helped them out of the hole they were in! Thank you Bruce for touching millions of souls with your music!
I loved ace but I grew up in the kulick era and I love his down to earth devotion to fans not gene and Paul
KISS robbed fans as soon as they put Thayer and the other pretender in Ace and Peter's makeup, trying to remain KISS, but becoming a tribute band of themselves!

We'll be waiting at least 3 years for the avatars anyway, so maybe KISS could still plan another brief world tour, perhaps just ten shows around the world, rescheduling the places they had to cancel. They could start with Tommy and Eric, each of them singing a song from Sonic Boom and Monster, then change guitarists and have Bruce come on for a few songs with his dog make up and a costume, and could they even bring on Vinnie Vincent for a few songs with costume and make up? And the second half of the show could be Ace and Peter in make-up and costumes, with Gene and Paul changing into 70s costumes. And what about with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, and bring back 3D. I'm ordering a hamburger with the lot. Last but not least, perhaps the other band members could also become avatars?
Just getting into the jam band topic. True, KISS isn't a jam band, but a band like The Allman Brothers was. If you ask me, the Allman Brothers would have blown KISS away, talent wise.

Bruce was in the band during their most successful time & for him to not get inducted or invited by them is a kick in the nuts! I love Kiss but how they treated bandmates.. past & present is atrocious! They might be a business but you don't treat people who have helped you with your success like that! Bruce bailed them out of a jam & made them more successful than they had ever been! His era should have been inducted into the HOF! Id say that the wost thing that they have done was cancelling Eric Carrs insurance as he is in the hospital fighting for his life. That was absolutely the lowest thing i have ever heard of! Not giving Vinny Vincent the credit he deserves for helping them finally get recognized & for bailing them out of a tight spot. Bruces last 2 albums with them were the best in their catalog! He was the reason that it sounded unbelievable! Only a narcissist would take credit for something that they had minimal or nothing to do with! That is how I see them now. Not the legends that they should be! I see them as the 2 guys who stepped on everyone who helped them to succeed .. afterwards they were kicked aside & forgotten about. Without those very talented people helping to pull them into the boat & out of the water.. their ship would have sunken long ago!
