All of Jinns forms are related to the Major Arcana. So you could assume he has another 18 or so transformations with different abilities and skills, from the Fool to the World. We just didn't have enough time to see all of them. Which is honestly understandable

Yes Soul is a bit broken but its based on music, it touches everyone. I really wanted Tsubaki to become a true death scythe though. Yeah shes broken with her family's weapon transformations, but come on shed be even more awesome if she could go beyond that. though I guess the shadow sword was THE ability transformation for her.

The whole point for Soul was that he went beyond the Impossible to become a Death Scythe. In truth, all of the Death Scythe abilities are what they bring to the role of being a weapon as a person, not just as a weapon. Soul is music, but Tsubaki? Little ambition for herself, more to push Black Star forward, and that was it. Soul wanted more...but didn't know what he wanted. Half the reason he was such an interesting...little guy.
This just makes me want the Soul Eater anime to get a remake like FMA Brotherhood even more, because the manga is so amazing, but they went anime original. WHY DO THEY DO THAT? WHY DIVERGE FROM A AMAZING MANGA!?!
That sometimes happen because the anime catches up with the manga and they start creating new plot to continue the anime, dont if that was the case with this
because the manga was on a break so bones altered the series to have a more wrapped up ending then just stopping in the middle of an arc

@@Kovugamez Agreed, along with Tokyo Ghoul, the first season was the best in terms of staying true to the manga. Akame Ga Kill's anime ending sucked though, because the manga ending was amazing, especially how Honest met his fate is far more satisfying.
Now that we know that Fire Force it's connected to Soul Eater, maybe after getting Fire Force last season and cap that conect to Soul Eater, they would release the Soul Eater's remake.
I wish Tsubaki was able to become a death scyth. her and Blackstar where my favorite of this series.

we do see spirit shapeshift tho he grows more or less blades from his main staff. he usually has 0 blades but we have seen him with both 1 and 2 blades
We've also seen him win several blades sticking out of his body
It seems as though they're special abilities are a combination of an ability of the weapon and of the witch whose soul they ate ( like soul evans)

ive watched the anime but never really read the manga... im amazed how good the artstyle is. it's worth studying the difference of soul eater and fire brigade... it's probably the closest to my preferred style when drawing illustrations and character design.
Oooh, Ookubo's style is at it's best once the Baba Yaga castle arc kicks in, after that he settles on a nice nimble structure that's really fun to look at, the Black Star vs Mifune battle is pure visual storytelling, no words, just action and thick ass, gritty brushstrokes.
He's got a lot of gothic aesthetic appeal to his illustration, and his favorite are extreme dynamic angles and intricate overhead shots. Fire Brigade is, style wise, the culmination of his progressive experimentation and improvement between Soul Eater and NOT! Definitely.
Sorry for the rambling, Ookubo's art is just one of my main inspirations for art to this day.
His art composition and character designs are very memorable. He somehow managed to make his own style of skull for Death with the three pointy teeth, the laughing sun and moon, Asura’s three eyes that seems more distinct than the typical third eye awakening for villains like Kaguya Otsutsuki or Aizen, Giriko being a human chainsaw way before Denji, Kid’a hair stripes. Everything is just so striking and the fact that he draws faces more differently than the streamlined anime facial structure just adds more to it. If the series goes full mad, the art really sells it.
When I first saw him in the manga I was like “COLLEGE TRIOGLY”
So are we not gonna talk about the soul's tracking abilities as well because after eating arcane, he gain the ability to see and sense through spiders as well it how they even found corona in the first place. Other than that everything was on point
