as i pointed out in my Comment due to how IP law may be applied it may have to end with fire force having an anime original ending due to it being made by 2 different studios (fire force by david productions while soul eater by Bones)

@@LIAuNXeNON The Soul Eater Moon is literally the final shot of Season 2. They also had Spirit cameo in an episode and name drop Maka so looks to me that there aren't any IP issues or else neither of these things would have happened.
I know I'm going to sound crazy, but listen to me - Atsushi Okubo, creator of Fire Force and Soul Eater, told us he's about to retire, but at the Lucca Games, he told us that he's reconsidering it. And with the rise in popularity of Soul Eater after Fire Force, we can really hope for a sequel to Soul Eater. Some things still haven't been told and it would be great to see the grown up main cast and their future arcs as an adults.

@SKsuprakirby The anime really started to drift away from the Manga about half way through, its be cool if they redid it to more fit the Manga story rather then doing an entirely new SE story.
This explains why no one felt weird that Sid was turned into a zombie. It was always strange to me that Black Star never felt sad that his adoptive dad essentially died.

Would have been hella cool if soul eater had a similar progression but came to the opposite conclusion feeling that they needed more structure and more emphasis on life. And boom they then remade the fire force world. And it would just be an endless cycle until someone just decides to destroy it all

The best part is that the Fire Force world is our world after the cataclysm. the panels with the corona social distance images hit really hard.

It'd be pretty neat if this led to a continuation of soul eater where somehow, an antagonist is set up to bring back the world that Shinra fought so hard to get rid of.
I first noticed that soul eater and fire force were linked when assault at the end of season 2, (episode 20 or 19) entered the same bar as the one albarn (makas father) always does, to train his resistance to woman because of his multiple loses to tamaki. it even shows a red haired guy (albarn) sitting in the seat behind complaining about his problems and even mentioning maka. Inca's sweatshirt hood also reminded me of medusa's hood because of the similar eye-like shapes on it.

I can't wait till Fire Force Season 3 and it's finale get adapted, it's going to be even MORE amazing when animated! After that, I hope David Production actually reboots the Soul Eater anime to faithfully follow the Manga entirely. I NEED A SOUL EATER REBOOT BADLY! The manga is SO GOOD! It's my favorite Manga series and Atsushi Okubo is a good damn well story writer and artist! Then after the Soul Eater reboot, hopefully Okubo gives us a Soul Eater continuation!
Technically that final form isn’t just Shinra, the banshoman form is the Kusakabe family themselves.

That's a big ass spoiler just in the title and thumbnail my guy. That being said, cool to see someone talking about it. The last 3rd of Fire Force is legit my favorite stretch of anything I've ever read or watched. Like to the point I'd rank it 11/10. Probably crazy, but I loved it that damn much.
I love how Shinra actually has a tangible answer to the whole despair/human suffering thing you see in basically every other anime and Japanese game and not just "believe in people" or "keep moving forward"

Doesn’t Kishin Asura show all he did was kick the can down the road. The lords of madness make it clear that they were also capable of reaching transcendent power and rewriting the world so it would just be a cycle of worlds built on worlds sealing the previous big bad until the presumed multiverse collapses.
All of this kinda could have been avoided if Shinra made Death fearless.

The closest I can think to something like this being canon in other series is Dr Slump taking place in Dragon Ball’s universe (as well as Jaco the Galactic Patrolman being revealed to be a stealth prequel)
Okubo imagine fire force before Soul eater , if you buy Soul Eater Volume 1 , its written on the first page : "So you finish reading the manga" foreshadowing something before Soul Eater .
And it was done before Fireforce even existed .
Soul Eater just has so much more development and action/ humor moments than Fire Force. Both are great, except that the ending of the Soul Eater anime was different from the manga and not good at all, but I still like them both.
I was absolutely loving the fire force series and for it to connect back to soul eater was just amazing cause I absolutely loved soul eater the manga

No one's going to believe me, but I called this about 10 chapters into Fire Force. As soon as I knew they were by the same author I knew Fire Force was going to either be a prequel to or run concurrent to the Soul Eater story.
Imagine reincarnating with all your memories of the old world I think that would be interesting concept for a character. Maybe even in a sequel series?????
(I would choose fire force) I’ve watched about an hour of other people’s videos “explaining” the ending of fire force. I feel lucky I found your channel many moons ago, you have a great skill in anime knowledge and making it entertaining

Wen I found this out after reading the manga, my mind was blown. These two series are my absolute fave. There was hints throughout the whole series in the anime. The sun, moon, the reaper skulls in the show n it's intro, etc.
I flipped my shit reading that last chapter. The absolute best tie in to a series ever.

Kishimoto did, but it got shitcanned because he sucks. I think he's working on burrito's dad's son now, and from what I hear, it's also garbage.
Kubo made a new thing a couple years ago, but it was only like 4 chapters and he's apparently doing it in seasons. He's also apparently gonna do more Clorox, but that chapter was like more than a year ago or something.

Considering there's plenty of stuff way better than the HST, especially Nardo and Laundry Detergent, I'm not too sure what you're trying to say. Those other series just do what they need to do in a much shorter timeframe

The creator of Bleach has been making a manga that's already been adapted into an anime. Its called Burn The Witch and its in the same universe as Bleach, but its about Europe's version of Soul Society. They have dragons and wands and shit. Kubo hasn't went too far into that series though yet.
Excaliber was always a name that stuck out to me when I watched fire force
Shinra created the Soul Eater universe by putting on a concert with his band where he sings Mayday, Blue Monday, and Even Flow.
I must forget this video. I have to forget that these two universes are really connected. I experienced such emotions simply from an indirect retelling. I'm afraid to imagine what will happen when I see this in the anime itself. I should have forgotten all this by the time the last episode of Fire Force comes out.
Soul eater was one of my favorite shows. I've seen every episode at least two or three times. I never read the manga on fire force but wow. I may have to cuz I watched every episode of fire force and I was blown away on how amazing it was. Lord have mercy. I gotta say there needs to be some kind of serious world level award to the creator of both of these Mangas/animes cuz that's just amazing.

One of the more crazier things about it is in the manga it's shown that the anime/manga used to look realistic like imagine if we when to our normal 3D real life selves and because anime styled characters that point in the manga was just insane.

This is so interesting and awesome for so many reasons but now I'm realizing some connections to characters between these animes. Like Soul and Shinra, Death and Arthur, Tamaki and Maka, Maki and Blair, even Benimaru and Stein (Or is this just me🤣If not completely ignore this). Anyways I wonder if Shinra did that purposely and reincarnated those he cared about or just some close allies. Since he was a God basically he could most likely due that, and since this world is filled with madness and resonance, maybe they're just crazy/more erratic versions of their previous lives based on those powerups. I believe this theory has a little bit of traction since there are definitely some personality/power crossovers in some of the combos I listed. Although the only problem I could think of is if Shinra lives in the Death Eater world at the same time Soul is alive, I can't remember lol.

With this hype for the connection it would be great to see a rework of Soul Eater (a Soul Eater: Brotherhood if you will) that holds true to the manga. Follow that up with what others have mentioned and have a sequel to Soul Eater in the mix could be amazing.

I'd still like to know what happened to everyone from Fire Force. Perhaps the regular citizens were modified a little and moved over to the new world, but that would make less sense for the more important characters like Shinra, Tamaki, and all the other firefighters. Hoping for another season or two of the anime to finish out Fire Force, and then with some luck we could get a full Soul Eater remake too.

what really has me in wonder is the problem with IP management and how due to fire force and Soul eater being produced by 2 different studios that the anime may have to have an anime original ending as maybe due to some BS IP law they may not be allowed to show anything from soul eater (BTW i say that because the studio that animated soul easter (studio bones) is still very much active while the fire force anime was animated by David productions)
Doubt it matters that much. Plenty of anime have changed studios before or even just been worked on by other studios.
@@s3studios597 yes but that's the same series of work not a different series. that's the difference. soul eater and Fire force would be clasefied as different properties when it comes to IP. the licence for one series does not give the licence to do the other and as such using the characters for one may be in conflict with the agreed licence with using the characters in another.

Death city clearly is not the only place on the planet, and getting to see fan favorites as well as possibly even Haumea and Charon living happily would complete me! T^T

Soul eater takes place hundreds of years in the future what are you talking about in the beginning of soul eater they talk about how witches and meisters have been fighting for 800+ years and in the fire force manga it says "in the distant past " and you see death making kid in the image of shinra
@Kai Lara as i hadn't seen the 800+ part in soul eater (it has been a while since I've read it) and just finished fire force, i was assuming seeing shinra in the last chapter along with maka and soul as babies had it set up as if they were alive at the same time. That's my blunder.
Just started fire force and it looks really good. I had issues with soul eater as Maka never felt like an mc who could control their power and instead were saved by a deus ex. It's been a long time since I watched the anime though

The fire force❤ Earth after an apocalypse where most of Earth is uninhabitable, but it's still recognisable as earth where the soul leader world was so weird, but it makes sense if it was created. He made the laughing son and the moon and all of the techniques used in Fire force. Basically the basis for more advanced techniques that were used in the solar universe as well as the first few things that show up like the first witch the first sword excalibur and just bits of information the solely to universe that allude to the main character of their fireforce. It's pretty mind-blowing to the same world because of our universally different now, even if they are 700 years apart

Well the hollows kinda go extinct but really the gods of death are like evolution descendants of the hollows or at least somehow came into existence from the hollows.

I’m pretty sure death probably took away his powers off screen or something because we never see Excalibur as a plasma sword in soul eater but I also still think Arthur would still have his imagination powers cause we see black star have a similar ability in soul eater so I think it wouldn’t be tied to his pyrokinesis

Because that Fire Force animation and its sound effects go hard, like, hard hard. But if Soul Eater gets reanimated with that same energy, then I'll give it to Soul Eater. I consider both Manga as equals.
