- This soundboard tape is sizzling. One of my favorite REM boots. You may want to dance if you have that Athens sound down in your soul. The back cover lists one more song than there is on the record. Go figure. I Don't Want You Anymore is also known as All The Right Friends but the first is the way it's listed on the cover. Got this as a 2 record bootleg in the mid 80s titled Georgia Peaches.
A great live show.
Thanks for posting.
You got it man!
Wow, 14 REM songs I never heard before. Very cool. Strong Ramones vibes on a lot of the tracks.
Those old tunes are great!
I have this vinyl, mixed a little fast but great recording. Wish the bass was a little higher in the mix and there is some saturation at the high end.
Still have the vinyl.
Excellent bootleg.
Thank you for uploading.
Definitely one of the best tapes of their early tunes. Kudos to the sound man that night.
Just curious if you ever saw or recorded an Atlanta band called The Fans back in the day?
Saw them many times but they were defunct long before I got the recorder.
@@oydave That's ok. You just keep posting this cool Atlanta stuff. Did you know Jon Kincaid? He was an Atlanta music historian of sorts. He was a big fan of The Nightporters.
He was a longtime friend. I keep wondering what happened to his music collection.
@@oydave I think it was sold off at various sales by his family.
@@SSFBITD, love the 80's and early 90's Atlanta music scene. Saw many, many local bands at venues like 688 and the Point.
