I think what he meant was that mortals have a short life which makes them rush to find a relationship while Nightmare, being immortal, sees no purpose in going out of his way to look for someone when he has his whole unending existence to do what he wants and find love one day if he ever has an interest.
And of course there's the fact that he'd probably find it pointless to fall for a mortal who will inevitably die so his options are even more limited. Basically limited to just the other immortal outcodes pretty much. Overall I can understand why someone immortal would have a lack of interest in pursuing a partner.

I can't believe I was asleep when this came out! Queenie I love it with all my heart!!! Almost 8 minute video!!! Already watched the video 3 times! Now a comment detailing scenes that I will cherish for the rest of my life, as promised.
For starters, I love how at the beginning, when looking at a list of the names of the people on his team, Nightmare just thinks about whether he will sleep with them or not. It's so funny! Honestly, I also think that Nightmare would not be interested in romantic relationships with mortals (even with all my love for Bad Guys Poly), it makes sense that he would not consider the possibility of developing a serious relationship with beings whose lifespan for him is comparable to that life of a pet hamster.
I also love how he called Cross the "Wait-to-Marriage" type of guy. This should be canon, in my opinion! Cross is so awkward lol.
Totally agree about Dust, the only difference in our headcanons here is that my Dust is trans mtf.
By the way, Nightmare is right! Messing with you is a lot of fun! >:D

Error. It's nice to know that at least someone cares about Error's haptophobia (I'm looking at you fanon Ink!). It's also funny how the first thing Nightmare thinks about is potential intimacy with him, completely forgetting that you asked him about a romantic relationship! I think I agree with Nightmare's answer about their relationship. Too different views and plans for the multiverse. As long as Error wants to erase every world except the original, I don't think that they will be able to date each other.
I'll skip Poly as I've already said enough about it.
Swap. (Love how Nightmare keeps forgetting that you're asking him for his opinion on potential romantic relationships, not sexual intimacy or his list of allies XD)
In general, I like the way they look together, even though I don't really ship them. Nightmare gave a good answer on why they don't work out together. Plus, Blue is mortal, and we've already covered the reasons why Nightmare wouldn't pursue a serious romantic relationship with them.
Never thought about it before, but I like Nightmare's answer about Ink. It's true that he doesn't really care about the people inside AU, so in theory, he and Nightmare could indeed form a rather beneficial alliance for the King of Negativity. However, in my opinion, they would not have come out to have a normal romantic relationship. (I generally think that Ink and things like "normal" or "healthy relationships" don't mix well at all.) It seems to me that any relationship with Ink will eventually lead to his romantic partner being unhappy. Because he's soulless, duh. And he will forget that he dates someone five minutes after he starts a relationship. So don't even try. Next.
Reaper. To be honest, I've never thought about these two together before, but I like the answer Nightmare gave. Reaper will definitely cling with all his limbs to a person who will not die from his touch (send my regards to Geno, and also my condolences to Error (because DestructiveDeath, yes) and all other creatures that can survive the touch of the God of Death, from now on your task is to be a hug pillow.

This is really funny- and the dream thing is kinda accurate-? Nightmare canonically has once been in a relationship with a ccino sans- before the creator of ccino left so the ship had to stop- but Ccino is a very fluffy and sweet person- depressed and the relationship was a bit toxic- but it was confirmed that despite any alterior motive nightmare has with the relationship for ccino's negativity- he did find him attractive- so fluffy and cute is honestly his type so for him to prefer dream and passive best honestly is kinda accurate- i dont ship either of those myself- (no offense about it- i just find it a bit odd canonically especially as nightmare technically has passive nightmare's body in his goop so any acts between night and dream would be - kinda gross-) though i really like the reasoning and the accuracy of the video- ^^
I am still trying to figure out canon undertale, I haven't figured out for a long time, but I have a question, aren't Dream and Nightmare brothers? I'm not sure but a lot of sources say they are. Some don't though which is why I am confused.
