I can imagine Andrew showing up as a side character on Friends at Central Perk, walking to the cashier, and saying "Bro, coffee now" and walking out.
And all girls looking at him as he does
Coffee and wo-arr
He would be a "Bully character" who's going out with Rachel, and the other Friends spend the episode trying to tell her what a big meanie he is. Then the plot twist is Rachel breaks up with him just as the other Friends think he's actually a cool guy and they're sad they've split.
He slaps Ross on the back of the head and says "Do some pushups"
Spaarkling whatur now 😂
He's right. All the men in friends were bitches. Ross was the worst.
Guy got divorced 3 times for a reason
Without the music or laughter, he comes across as a nutt job.
Come to think about, Friends screwed up my college experience. Masses of girls thought it was cool to be just friends, hanging around straight dudes in their pajamas, leaving dudes with massive blue balls, etc. They were reenacting Friends. I am just realizing it now, 30 years later.
They just didn't want to f*ck you dude...
Nah they was sleeping with real men up your game you beta!! Seriously
@@johnsmithdoe3718That's the whole point, watching friends programed them to be beta cucks.
It definitely had a massive influence on modern college culture and how people view relationships
it was a massive psy op to fk us all men
Indeed friends had an enduring influence. When it was being 1994 to 2004 projected, I was 18 to 28 years old, i.e. I was right of age to see the influence it had on the following generational wave of men and women younger than me up to 10 years. Big difference indeed. By all means one cannot attribute it all to Friends itself, however people also tend to forget that Friends also influenced movies and other tv programmes as well as prepared the scene for reality shows such as the original Big Brother (where men and women lived in a kind of "Friends" situation). People also tend to forget that even if the majority of my generation was not watching "Friends", most of us had watched at least one episode or two, say in the company of college chicks during some Sunday night in house with tv and pop-corn. And then if, say, 40% of girls watched it and about 20% of men watched, these ones exerted an influence to the rest without the rest even realising it. Something similar yet to far lesser yet still noticeable extent occurred with Bing Bang Theory which de-nerdified nerds and turned them to "geeks" back in 2007-2009. If BBT did so, imagine Friends which was fa rmore insidious, propagandistic and of course far more popular, not to mention the countless re-runs to this day.
Very true, and that's exactly how propaganda works.
A 47 year old man just ranted about Friends on an Andrew Tate video, maybe we really are doomed
Tbf, it was a bitter pill to swallow at first but looking back at it the men in Friends really were so pathetic
im sorry that your influence was soo trash
The women on friends aren't portrayed as strong either though. So for that reason i think friends is not a manipulation attempt but more an innocent attempt to appeal to the masses to be a popular tv show.
We also have to remember they are in their 20s - early 30s in that show. 20s - early 30s = you aren't really a full developed adult mentally.
@@MS45636 yes you are . People need to quit saying that 20s-30s are “kids”. Their all adults
@@Eddybih03 Ask any man 40s+. They've lived both as a younger man and an older man. A young man has only done the young bit.
Male brain apparently reaches biological maturity at 25 years of age. So if you consider its around that point your brain would just BEGIN processing the world something close to its optimal limits.
I remember back to 20s i was a total baby. Mistakes and getting stressed out over silly things and not understanding was a normal day.
Enjoy all stages of life, relax. Society wants yall to grow up faster to get workers, soldiers etc etc.
@ace8165 As a young man you cant spot it so well and why would you assume you could ?
I've rarely met a 20s to early 30s guy who i'd consider a mature adult male (one who has their shit together, well rounded and with some wisdom included). My neighbour at 31 who is a successful hard working guy shows signs of immaturity. Look at young sports stars or celebs - these are people with access to the highest level resources but yet still their actions lack wisdom, maturity.
This shows how Powerful Andrew Tate has become...He can change ppls opinion about a series they have loved their entire lives
He blew my mind. He is 100% right and I loved Friends.

I never watched friends and never will, the show never caught my attention and had some dislike towards it but never pinpoint why, probably what Tate said is one of the reasons it never appealed to me, just never analyzed that way.
I always said it was bad
Fuck that show never loved it and I already knew this reason
i had the same vibes about the show but tate's the one who could articulate the thoughts properly and effectively
I’d say I was speaking out against this show before it was cool, but it was always cool to do so. It’s always cool to *Do the Right Thing.* Hint hint.

I always hated that garbage show too. Bad enough that all the females in my class watched it, but then I found out some dudes were watching it too and I felt disgusted.
For some reason i was never able to watch it as well,i tried but i just couldn't do it,it seemed forced to me or not genuine.

Very good man indeed! Accused from the UK to Romania with seven counts of sexual battery. You don't get into that kind of trouble for nothing. Tate is just a typical, underworld trafficker villain who's too conceited and dumb to have keep his ego silent and his mouth shut. If you can't realize that reality, you're just slow...
Bruh he was a big fan of the show as well.Guy literally knew the theme song at the end
There are a lot of manly men out there that do movies but they never do these comedy sitcoms though like Friends. Even in the 80s we had Full House which was kind of targeted towards women, but we also had A-Team, Macgyver, Rambo and Commando that was more meant for men. So I think it's fine as long as there's something for everybody
Friends coined the phrase "friend zone"
‘We’re on a break’
Wasn't it coined on Seinfeld before?
No they didn't. "Friend zone" has been around way longer than that show.
lmaoo!!😂😂
@@LukionSmith nope. The concept yeah sure, but the first time the specific phrase "friend zone" was used in a TV show was in friends.
One of the other major problems with friends was the way it portrayed the girls sleeping with a disgusting amount of different men as normal

@@Nick-rf9hk Rachel actually goes through at least 10 boyfriends over the 10 seasons. Granted there’s a couple of them which it leaves ambiguous whether she slept with them or not, but regardless 4 is too many anyway. You should have sex with the person you marry and that’s it.

Stop watching Redpill crap. And Joey sleeping with hundreds of women didn't bother you???????
I ruined that show for a mate by pointing out sitcoms like Fraser had their one dopey person (the maid) who’s only humour was saying something dumb. And every other sitcom had a similar dopey character. But with Friends every single one of them was the dopey character, not one witty joke was ever told on that show. My mate realised I was right and he’d never noticed it.
You're one of those people.
Then you have shows like It’s Always Sunny where the all the characters are dopes but that’s the joke, so it works.
i noticed that immediately. All the cornball loosers from my school were laughing in hysterics at friends. I just peered at them, through my monocle no less and sipped my beverage whilst chortling in response to Frazier's many moments of classic tomfoolery. Fuck friends.
Idk where you got this from but the script and sequences especially in the earlier seasons were really well-written especially for chandler's jokes. Sure they had weak moments but that's normal. Sounds like your friend is really impressionable
While I agreed that joeys character was quite dumb , the earlier seasons had many witty jokes and the acting was superb.
Basically most TV shows I grew up with the "good men" are portrayed as weak, feminine and docile while the physically strong, macho and assertive male characters ended up to be the abusive bad guys. What do you think Hollywood is trying to tell the young generation of men? Today we have slogans like toxic masculinity as well being thrown around but never toxic femininity. What does that tell you?
Umm toxic femininity does exist, it refers to the enforcement of rigid gender roles for women, so in combination with toxic masculinity which is an overemphasis of male traits which is harmful to society, both things negatively affect women and wider society in general
@@mealovesyu Nobody throws around the word toxic femininity. Besides, it's funny how "toxic masculinity" is "overemphasis" on male traits according to you but the definition of toxic femininity is not an overemphasis of female traits.
If you wanna call spade a spade then gossiping, backbiting, slander, false accusations and crocodile tears should be toxic femininity since more women does that than men, as much as being overly dominant and overcompetitive is toxic masculinity.
But even then, nobody throws around buzzwords like "toxic femininity" to women.
@@woopazipper well first of all it’s not a “buzzword”, that’s a redundant excuse; you just don’t like how the term makes you feel. Which is ironic because right wing conservatives are constantly making fun of people for using “trigger warnings”. Yet you want to ban words and terms because they hurt your feelings and make you feel uncomfortable. Do you seriously not see the hilarious irony and hypocrisy in this?
Most right leaning conservatives hate terms like a toxic masculinity because they hate being held accountable for their bigoted attitudes and bad behaviour. Hence why they hate “buzzwords” because it succinctly highlights your lack of intellect, (bigotry and right wing beliefs are correlated with low IQ) and nonsensical worldview, while also acting as a warning to others to not engage with you. Because nobody would want to be racist, or a homophobe or associate with someone who is, unless they were one themselves.
As for toxic masculinity, it seems that you have not actually read about it. Toxic masculinity is described as a set of actions, beliefs and character traits, usually traditionally masculine, which reinforce the patriarchal social structure; often to the detriment of anyone that isn’t a heterosexual male. Toxic femininity isn’t stuff like gossiping, but rather the same thing: a set of actions, beliefs and character traits, usually traditionally feminine, which reinforce the patriarchal social structure.
For example, insulting other women for the number of previous sexual partners that they have had and claiming that because of this, they will go on to live lonely lives and will not attract the interest of any male off a long term relationship. Another example is acting more coquettish than usual around men, agreeing with everything they say, even if it’s misogynistic nonsense, and avoiding topics like sexual assault in order to not make them feel uncomfortable. Which I personally don’t care about, because the feelings of people in general, especially males are unimportant to me. I do force myself to care about the sensibilities and feelings of my male friends but even then it’s only a little bit. Basically, toxic femininity is being a pick me girl.
It’s not necessarily “crocodile tears or gossiping”, despite what movies and media might tell you. As these things usually harm the patriarchal social structure and threaten the social status of males and their control over society and their reputations e.g. false rape accusations (which are extremely rare). Most of the things that are labeled as toxic femininity aren’t actually toxic femininity because they either do not explicitly serve to reinforce patriarchal norms and beliefs, or they are just everyday human behaviours (like gossiping) that all humans regardless of ethnicity, sexual orientation, or sex, participate in daily (and are therefore irrelevant to the discussion).
If you are still confused, there are many resources in the form of CZcams videos, books, and academic journals that explain this in more detail/more clearly. I think that you should watch/read these in order to actually understand what it is that you are talking about/having an issue with.
Your comment is actually an example of toxic masculinity; most males will comment or get emotional over a concept or event that they do not understand and have not conducted any legitimate research into, and yet still have the audacity to tell people like myself who are well read on this topic, that we are unequivocally wrong. Usually their stance is not based on any critical thinking skill, cogent argumentation or legitimate evidence, but rather emotionality, and false premises; they believe that they are correct in what they are saying purely on the basis that they are a male, so therefore anything and everything they say is correct; they must always be right.
And to this end they will rationalize anything to make it seem like it is a logical argument that they came to from much thought and reviewing of evidence when really it was just a viceral emotional reaction to a stimulus which perhaps triggered their introverted sensing faculty i.e. a bad memory or trauma or their introverted feeling function i.e. what they personally believe is moral and right to them. I think this describes and sums up your comment perfectly, while answering/debunking any questions/arguments you might have, whether they were made in bad faith or otherwise 😃
@@woopazipper the other comment was wayyy too long so I also want to add a REALLY important thing I forgot to say 😊
that another main example of toxic femininity is women bashing men for crying, telling them to “man up” (whatever that means) when men come to them and respectfully confide in them about something that is troubling them like the death of a family member or worries about the future etc
This is why toxic masculinity/femininity (rly just toxicity in general) needs to be unlearned by BOTH men and women in order to have a society that functions better and where people feel more understood by one another. (men first then women preferably as men it’s harder for them to unlearn and they set the tone for society’s Overton Window i.e. what society tolerates and thinks is acceptable)
a lot
Andrew Tate is The best movie critic ever
He just pointed out people in the 90s and 20s were being brainwashed and dumbed down via comedy.
Being brainwashed and dumbed down by a Dark Age cult is hardly an improvement.
You do realize tate is being satirical right. It’s a sitcom about silly friends. All sitcoms have dumb characters it’s not that deep lol
Tbf tho, the men were slowly getting more emotional and woke in the sitcoms as time went on. I mean is sarcasm really "unmanly" cos andrew tate is very satirical in general. That being said the men in friends were pretty soppy let's be real, especially Ross
@@gigiblack2231 oh yes it is and world leaders admitted to subverting entire nations through shows like this. Do not underestimate how powerful the brainwashing is from TV. I watched an entire country of teenagers be brainwashed through Geordie shore, love island.
@@gigiblack2231 He's being serious whist joking too. He actually means it
I think what makes Friends plausible is that the men and women are linked because one of the girls is the sister of Ross, right? So, it's plausible they would hang out as a friend group. Although the entire show is pretty unrealistic. And in reality, it's rare to have so many friends you hang out with on a regular basis.
Almost every big show especially a huge hit like Friends, from the 90s to now, has a political agenda. Nothing is random , and not only comedy shows, scifi, adventure...even music video clips & cartoons...everything. First comes the agenda

It was entertaining and funny. People get offended over the silliest things these days. And honestly I think Tate is too obsessed with male attributes but it contradicts his own characters. He is an emotional wreck. Getting offended over the silliest things ever. I love masculine traits. One of the best parts of masculinity is to stay away from drama and being patient and only acting aggressively when it's necessary. A concept lost for Andrew Tate. I do like Friends the show because it does hit on "real" issues like when Monica and Chandler couldn't get pregnant together due to fertility issues.
What I do agree with Andrew on is that between the three main guy characters (Ross, Chandler, and Joey), there's rarely any sense of true masculinity displayed by them! On the flip side, you see it very clearly in the female characters, which isn't bad in itself! However, it's definitely a knock if you show none of that at all in the male characters too!
1) Chandler while witty and quick with jokes, he's definitely not someone you want as a wingman whether it's getting girls or physical intimidation
2) Ross while being the smartest one of the three, he can't keep a girlfriend or wife throughout the show, and how often he lost control of his emotions during the show
3) Joey while being the strongest and smoothest with the ladies (not sure if his how you doin would work today), safe to say no guy wants to have his IQ in the real world today!
Now that I think about it, I'd probably want Phoebe for sure (if not Monica too) over Ross/Chandler/Joey if a fight was about to breakout!
why is there a push to up-play female masculinity in the first place is my whole thing?
When I saw friends in 2014 when I was in college, I saw something was wrong with guys in the show. Guys when we talk among each other talk like shit, swearing or insulting but we do not mean it. But in Friends , these guys in front of girls are toned down in language. This is a show written for girls on how they prefer guys to be.
I think Sex and the city made much more damage in the minds of young women.

Mr. Tate you cannot accurately say that the friends tv show is the main cause of all the faults that you are saying. That show is made for entertainment only and if you hate it, its your point of view
What Andrew had missed, is Monica almost had a thing with Joey when he moved in, Phoebe almost slept with Ross, Monica and Chandler got together, at the end Ross and Rachel too. There was many manly moments too, Ross with his sandwich, Joey sleeping with half of NY, Chadler flew to Yemen to get away from his ex, and sure it was not all-out macho, but it's called Friends for a reason, not hook-ups. I get his point, but blaming a 25 years old series for all the woke crap is a lomg stretch, instead he'd have gone after Disney animations, Netflix and other channels.
Friends is just a TV show, maybe more of the problem is that we're relying on entertainment to tell us how to live our own lives. We're all too impressionable. A lot of the story lines in friends was about making untraditional/unexpected choices and them still being there for each other. It's right in the theme song "Your jobs a joke, your broke, love life d.o.a (dead on arrival)... but I'll be there for you." If all TV shows were tutorials on how you should live then they would be boring as hell.
Look to your parents, community, friends, coaches, religion to give you life advice. Not a freaking TV show 🙄
Tv shows how far more effect in the absence of things u mentioned
Has more to do with the time period in which the show aired, late 90's. That's when society started to pivot to political correctness and other ridiculous shit that most of us just saw as stupid at the time, but eventually turned things into what they are today within two decades.
We think that it is not the producers of TV shows' job to be a coach on how to be an ideal person. But then again, why does the mainstream media constantly attack Dave Chapelle for being a comedian ? All of a sudden, a comedian, whose job is to make people laugh and to entertain, can't just say whatever he wants to say. Why ? "BECAUSE HE IS A BIGOT. Homophobia, Transphobia, Biphobia, fatphobia, Xenophobia, Islamophobia, racism, ableism, misogyny and blah blah blah blah isn't funny. 😭😭😭😭" But apparently portraying men as puh-says is funny ? How ? How is it boring to try to focus on both humour and good morality ? But it is entertaining to show and see (like Andrew Tate said) the constant bombardment of all the Trannys and Homos trying their asses off to be funny and politically correct at the same time ? There is definitely nothing cringey and degenerate about that, right ?
Exactly it's supposed to be comedy TV show
I don't see it that way at all. I can't stand that show for precisely the reasons he outlines. You've used minimization and blame-shifting as manipulative tactics to argue against his point. You are exactly the evidence of how Cultural Marxism is so effective. Golly Goober, it's just a show (portraying the "new" feminized men) and it is your fault the producers have written this kind of material (Sex and the City being another of many more examples.) There really isn't a systematic culture-wide push going on in the schools, the media, entertainment, etc. to change traditional values and roles. It's "just" a TV show and the material "poofed" into existence without any design, no objective other than the lovely message about being there for each other. lol. It's just an accident it isn't Father Knows Best.
There is a "laughing box" programming us to understand what our global elites want us to think is funny, and it is just as disgusting to me as Saturday Night Live and other not-comedy shows that are just leftist talking points masquerading as humor. They're programming the audience how to think, if you want to be a good little obedient citizen.
We don't even have a television in our house, and we homeschool. Because we see what kind of negative influence this culture has on children. Despite agreeing with your last sentence, that does not excuse the engineers of Cultural Marxism working diligently to break down the family and national unity.
I remember back in the 90s I preferred Seinfeld I hated Friends to me Seinfeld always found something annoying about every female he dated and would dump them for that reason, that is reality

It is so strange that the producer before the even started filming it, told them that this is the last time they will be "unknown". After they start filming everyone on this planet will know who they are. Funny how he "predicted" that right? They just "predict"everything?
Something always bugged me about this show. Even in old school comedies from previous generations you'd have 1-2 imbecilic or overly goofy/sensitive male characters for comic relief, but it was rare for every guy in the cast to just be a complete joke with few redeeming qualities and no overt masculinity.
Friends helped start the trend where all the female characters are smart, competent, resourceful, hardworking , etc while also being kind with high emotional awareness. Theh have few flaws and the flaws they do have, the male characters are rarely if not never point them out or best them intellectually. Meanwhile, the guys are the total opposite: dumb, clumsy, sensitive, etc. This pretty much became a staple in Hollywood movies and shows with how people wrote characters and now it's even in more serious genres like action, horror, etc with the women almost always being more put together.
And since many people have their personal views/philosophies influenced by TV, they start to live that sort of lifestyle and have thag attitude about men and women. In school and even work, some women just automatically assume they're the smartest and most competent in the room, look down on the men, etc and get shocked if a guy doesn't just meekly put his head down and agree with her. Its pretty insane.
That’s why it’s called programming my friend.
I hardly watched Friends (I'm on the Seinfeld team), but the women from Friends also were weak, with Phoebe missing a few mental screws, Monica having severe compulsive behaviours and Rachel making bad decisions and being emotional. Tate's story is attractive because it follows a certain narrative, but in reality it wasn't as black and white. Friends was fine for the people who liked it (mostly girls). TBH I think the character of Joey is more of an alpha than the character of Andrew tate, because Joey is very balanced and outcome independent whereas Tate comes across as emotional en whiney to me.

I always felt that men in friends are portrayed as weak, vulnerable and feminine while girls are strong both physically and character - wise! And this is the main reason why I started hating it! Monica can win an arm wrestle against Chandler, win arguments (almost always), it was mentioned that Monica is stronger physically than Chandler... Moreover, Ross couldn't take Monica down (physical fight!), Phoebe and Rachel took Ross down in a physical fight and so on... it was really rare where Men protrayed as strong characters and dependable ones unlike women in the show... it is really disgusting!
Proud to say I never liked the show, the guys were too 'fey - didn't watch it. Liked Seinfeld though. Liked How I Met Your Mother, but didn't like the sappy architect guy Ted much. Marshall & Barney were fun characters.

the main character guys were always soft, and every guy they encountered outside of the group was normal
Any time there's three they are a representation of Ego, Id, and Superego. Both the three guys and the three girls. One is very animalistic and dumb (Id = Joey and Phoebe), one is very self-centered (Ego = Ross and Rachel), one is very normal like (Superego = Chandler and Monica). Having emotion and caring for people is not "Unmanly". Real men care for other people, friends. Drinking vodka all the time, smoking cigars, etc. does not make you a man.
It's not how men behave by default. It's something that has been imposed on them by an overbearing culture that has been amalgamated over the decades with propaganda to give certain individuals more power and more money with reasoning that is, presumably beyond your understanding based on the fact that you don't already understand it.

If you're so paranoid and averted to anything that you perceive as gay, that you immediately had to reject a tv show because you found characters to be too gay when one of those characters main ongoing joke is about how many women he's always sleeping with, then you should probably speak to a psychiatrist about how you're probably in the closet...

Funny how all the male actors in Friends ended up nowhere after the series. And Matthew Perry is just a complete mess of a man right now, and who would blame him when his legacy amounts to playing a comic relief character trying to hide his insecurities behind sarcasm and cynicism. On the opposite, all the female actresses somehow flourished after the series because they were all portrayed in a positive and favorable way.

Thinking about it, I gotta say he has a point. I watched Friends for the first time this year and I absolutely loved it, but his points about the show making men soft pussies is right. It's quite normal for us to see men portrayed like that in comedies, so I didn't mind and had great fun watching the show, but back then it probably wasn't a usual thing. I guess it could've been the beginning of that trend on such a large scale. Anyway, the show is amazing even today and to state that it's the worst of all time just because of soft main characters is simpy nonsense, but it's Tate after all.

Ross was a professor, (geek,) Chandler worked for corporate, Joey played the part of a guy trying to break into show biz, these male characters were supposed to be some what of a push over but endearing and still very much a man at the same time. In the grand scheme of things, yes, the show "F.R.I.E.N.D.S" is an unrealistic, dumbed-down, and demoralizing portrayal. I acknowledge that some individuals may disagree with this perspective. Personally, during my teenage years (13-15 y/o), I would have vehemently objected and even resorted to physical confrontation if someone had criticized the show in this manner.
I recall a time when the characters from "F.R.I.E.N.D.S" were my only companions. After challenging school days, I found solace in watching the show. I became complacent, neglecting to make real-life connections or invest effort in adapting to emotional expectations in my surroundings. I fostered a self-imposed sense of introversion, believing it to be a valid coping mechanism.
Fast forward a few years, and reality hit me. I realized that my reliance on the show was merely a coping mechanism, a way to justify not putting in the effort to form meaningful connections. While various lifestyle and childhood circumstances played a role, "F.R.I.E.N.D.S" acted as a catalyst for this state of complacency. Although it may have seemed like the show prevented me from falling into depression, it, in fact, hindered me from taking proactive steps to improve my situation.
To clarify, this is not a blame placed on the show for my coping mechanisms. Responsibility lies with me for not actively working towards my well-being. However, I harbor mixed feelings about the show. A preferable alternative, in my opinion, is to engage with meaningful resources-whether through watching, reading, or other forms of consumption. Life is short, and if one is not keen on self-improvement, there are numerous alternatives that blend humor with important life messages.

I agree with this actually. Friends gave men including myself the worst impression about how to be 'modern man' in this world. All the men in the show were weak and feminine. Also, another bad show was 'scrubs'. It also showed men as weak and feminine. I'm sure that this was all done on purpose to weaken and make us more feminine rather than more masculine. The 90's were my formative years. I was born in 82 but I wish sometimes I was born in 62 or 72. At least that way there would have been better role models to learn from in the 70s and 80's with more real men on TV rather than the 90's male role model's 'embrace and show your feminine side' male role models on the 90's.

I can safely say now that I’ve never watched a single episode of friends and glad about it
There's like a fire inside me that mostly agrees with this. I think representation is important for some people who don't have a media figure to relate to, but I also feel like, damn, true, where's the media figure who represents a masculine man in the modern day? I liked How I Met Your Mother more than friends, but Barney Stinson was revealed to be broken inside in later seasons.
Hard to take that character serious when the actor playing him is a pillow-biter
wheres the media representation for a masculine man? There are none, because thats toxic. Hell, even the hulk has to act like a bumbling idiot so that "sHe HuLk" can be the star
How could anyone prefer HIMYM over Friends? The humor in that show sucked ass, as did one of the protagonists. Overdramatic, hyperunrealistic settings. Tasteless.
Also, media figures who represent a manly man? As long as we have icons who take care of their family, who care for and participate in a community, and who value the true substantial things in life over their appearance, musculature, and the way they are viewed by others too much; men who aren’t vain, and who are humble, unlike Mr. Tate here, I think we’re good. As long as we’re not fucking up our testosterone production through a horrible postmodern Western diet lacking red meat, organs and fat, lack of UV-B and general sun-spectrum light exposure, and sedentary lifestyle.
Representation is not important and they mean and add nothing to the show/movie. They are mostly self'-insert of delusional people that actually ruins the show/movie than add any value to it.
@Kingdom House people that need to be represented in every superhero movie, tv series or cartoon must have weak character if they cannot get by
