  • Joey and Dave Landreth were kind enough to spend an hour talking music with Andy G Jones.
There were some very quotable moments from both of them. What a talented family.
I hope you enjoy this Strung Out Straturday!! Check their new CD ‘Come Morning’ - it’s another must have from two of the greatest songwriters of our time - great playing and singing too.
Andy wrote another custom theme for the Bros. and Patti Revell Jones sang it beautifully!!

Really enjoyed this discussion, especially when David seemed to stick the landing by saying, "it's not about perfection; it's about connection.'" Thanks again for the content. I'm sure this channel will take off soon enough.

First off COME TO LCCM (the college) 😛 secondly GREAT interview love how in-depth you guys went on harmony, a little insight into the dedication it takes to be one of the greats. Great to hear Joey talk about how long it took him to come up with some of his arrangements. I heard a similar thing in an interview with Pat Metheny recently and it’s really changed my approach to learning music. Thirdly cannot wait to hear this album 🙂
