They pulled the same stunt in the PS4 Spider-Man game, when Spidey has to choose between giving Aunt May the serum to save her life while knowing that doing so will result in not enough serum being left to save the life of everyone else who's infected (and we're talking about millions of lives here) or letting his Aunt May die so that New York may survive the ordeal. It was a tearjerker there too. Michael Song Some things like these have to happen, no one need carry blame nor change it. Changing it is futile because if the timeline is disturbed, awful events occur instead of a peaceful one.
Michael Song Timeline Paradoxes are a very risky History-changer because if the timeline is not the way it is moving onto its daily day then it becomes unstable and Paradoxes occur. I wonder... why not keep changing the timeline until you hit the jackpot? I mean, it doesn't seem like there's any negative consequences for changing the timeline. Yeah sure, sometimes, the events can turn out slightly differently (as with Flashpoint), but you can just go back in time and change again if the change turned out bad. And keep repeating it until you get the time changes for the better future.

The Flash runs with such speed and purpose here that even while injured he is able to catch up to a healthy version of himself and stop the flashpoint universe from ever happening
@@ssjdon whoever said that makes no sense because there is two speed forces. The one that thawne taps into is the negative speed force. And the one that barry taps into is the speed force or positive speed force as some would call it.
@@kavarishettlesworth5929 Yeah; Reverse-Flash wasn't "hogging" speed force, but he was using the negative speed force to interfere with The Flash's attempts to run fast enough to go back in time. It's easy to get confused by it since Reverse Flash's last sentence about it (before being shot by Thomas Wayne) is, "I'm afraid there just isn't enough speed force to go arou-(is shot by Batman)".
@@matthewmuir8884 technically no cause the negative speed force is still the speed force but it is corrupted as thawne would say the negative speed force is a cancer to the regular speed force. So if Barry doesn’t run the speed force will be destroyed by the negative speed force. The more Barry Allen runs the stronger and more energy the speed force puts out since Barry is the speed force generator. But when reverse flash runs his negative speed force eats away at the speed force in return making it weaker and therefore dampening Barry’s powers. Just like I said the negative speed force is a parasite to the regular speed force. Parasites can not survive without a strong host or they will die. So in return if the negative speed force doesn’t feed off of the positive speed force it will die out. But the plus side is for thawne is that the reason why he so fast and is able to keep with Barry because his negative speed force eats away at the regular speed force.
@@kavarishettlesworth5929 Okay. I was just trying to explain the movie's plot point; the movie makes a point that Thawne is able to use his own super-speed to keep Barry from being able to go back in time.

@@matthewmuir8884 there is character, literally all his scenes prior to that scene, and idk why you expecting something different from the flash saving the world, so if flash went back in time to save the world should we be expecting martha wayne joker? and if he didnt go back in time then the fucking world ends. the reason why in flashpoint its a bigger deal was because its a long time before rather than literal seconds before
At this point we’ve had two live action Flashpoint adaptations and they seriously cannot do this story justice like they did in this movie. It’s insane how much wasted potential there was
Its not that he couldn't turn back time inside the Speed Force but if you watch he scene closely, Barry was too weak and his memories were too far gone for him to do anything. That left Thawne with full control of the situation which in tern, due to even the slightest change in events including the very timing of it , caused a ripple effect which altered history over the decade that came afterwards. If Barry retained his memories and powers in the live-action show, he could have stopped himself like he did the first time he went back in time, but waiting til the last minute drained him leaving him as a spectator once again.
Jean Rolon Wrong. Barry was trying to run back in time and save Cisco's brother and try to stop Caitlin from becoming Killer Frost. He was about to screw up the timeline even more.

The main timeline, or post-Flashpoint timeline, of this universe started with a Flashpoint being undone, and then it ended with another Flashpoint being created. It even seems that Reverse-Flash was indirectly responsible for Darkseid's actions since he indirectly caused Barry to do all this.

Run Barry, run!! These 3 words do work wonders on him
10 years later and I think this is by far one of if not the best animated DC movie I’ve seen.
Zack Snyder was like, "let's tease the fans with this scene"...
Ya and both those scenes are epic 😚
So who's here after watching Barry reverse time in *Justice* *League* *SnyderCut* ???😎😈
This just proves that how insanely strong Barry is
This is what flash the movie should be
totally Agree
Make your own future, make your own past. It all starts now.
Zack Snyder took inspiration from this scene
He definitely did. Jay Olivia the director of this movie also worked on Zack’s movie
You mean ripped this scene off without any of the substance that made this scene work? Then yes.
@@matthewmuir8884 tf you on about 😂
@@gooberguttle424 The "Flash runs back in time" scene in the Snyder Cut is all flash (pun not intended) with no substance; it's just an empty action sequence with no character or anything behind it.
In fact, all it does is create problems, as it shows the Flash travelling back in time and changing events with no repercussions whatsoever.
@@matthewmuir8884 there is character, literally all his scenes prior to that scene, and idk why you expecting something different from the flash saving the world, so if flash went back in time to save the world should we be expecting martha wayne joker? and if he didnt go back in time then the fucking world ends. the reason why in flashpoint its a bigger deal was because its a long time before rather than literal seconds before
This is one of the best movies ever made! Props(Kudos) to the director and DC universe!
Boundless Atilier So Epic!!!
At this point we’ve had two live action Flashpoint adaptations and they seriously cannot do this story justice like they did in this movie. It’s insane how much wasted potential there was
Why didn't Barry stop himself while running in the show?
Its not that he couldn't turn back time inside the Speed Force but if you watch he scene closely, Barry was too weak and his memories were too far gone for him to do anything. That left Thawne with full control of the situation which in tern, due to even the slightest change in events including the very timing of it , caused a ripple effect which altered history over the decade that came afterwards. If Barry retained his memories and powers in the live-action show, he could have stopped himself like he did the first time he went back in time, but waiting til the last minute drained him leaving him as a spectator once again.
Tal Izenberg paradox
Might kill reslity
Tal Izenberg Because CW wanted to have a plot where flashpoint creates the new villians flash faced in season 3 like savitar and the others.
He was gonna but jay stopped him
Jean Rolon Wrong. Barry was trying to run back in time and save Cisco's brother and try to stop Caitlin from becoming Killer Frost. He was about to screw up the timeline even more.
who is here after watching the Justice League Dark apocalypse war? Its so touching to see the way New 52 DC universe started, it ended the same way...

How sad to watch this on Mother's day. The ending is very poignant.

Goosebumps when he hits the time barrier.
Same XD
Why couldn't WB just take this exact version and recreate it in live action? Why?
I've been wondering myself the same thing, given that the comic book story arc was recreated in this animated movie. It could have also been a good opportunity to introduce the Reverse Flash in the DCEU or DCU.
Tal vez en el nuevo DCU de James Gunn.
That’s just boring. No purpose in making a shot-for-shot live-action adaptation
@MIST390 I bet you love Disney’s live-action remakes
@MIST390 so why are animated comic book movies different?

Who's here after the best scene in Zack Snyders Justice League? ⚡⚡⚡
Me and probably the best part of the movie so far. Wb along with joss whedon disregarded so much to the character of flash and cyborg in previous one but u know what I had watched flashpoint paradox a year before and when I watched that particular scene I remembered this one which gives me so much pleasure I can't explain that's why Dc characters are my all time favourite 🤗
*****SPOILERSSSSSSS*********Who else is here after seeing Justice league synder cut Flash go back in time to save everyone.
My fanboy ass was blowing up during that moment
I actually went back and watched JLU flash vs luthor scene...same level epicness and then this
Still better than the live action movie
100% better than the movie
I honestly wish live action film were done more like to really sell speed. This just feels more intense watching him run that fast instead of bunch of slow motion
Run Barry run
We can all collectively agree that this movie is better than the recent Flash movie that came out
YES and no
If only the live action flash was 10 percent of this master piece lol

this is one of the best movies of all time
I've always loved this scene ever since I saw it a couple years back. But Snydercut brought me back.
Ya and both those scenes are masterpiece😚
After watching the new flash movie my respect for this movie has gone much higher tbh
The fact that Flash ran so fast to save the world that he bled himself just to catch up with his past self, thats some heroic scene right there
the way it ends with Mum,i'm so sorry is just so sad and the fact that flash is still a fun funny character even after all that trauma just proves how great of a character he is
They should have just copy and pasted this movie into live action. Top tier film .
This scene was needed in the final part of the Flash . It felt so anti climatic
Yes, just Copy Paste what is Possible. But they totally messed it up. Really Sad.
Who is here after ZSJL ?
Voice casting director, probably made this actor say this line ... 100x. To get the full emotional moment. This is an Oscar performance. Great actor.
Barry: How can I run away from this?
Thomas: The same reason I can leave this world behind. I know a better world will replace it. But I am sorry, Barry... *I am sorry about your mother.*
Anyone after flash trailer?
Here.

I would imagine that it would be near next to impossible to convince yourself to not do the thing that your heart most fervently desires
And for one more time, flash create another flashpoint to avoid Darkseid damn what a big burden this guy need to take
A 3rd Barry shows up: Stop you're going to create the new 52!
4rd barry:"stop.
You going to create the rebirth!"
1:02 this music gets me on edge of my seat everytime!
Do u know the name music??
Nobody:
1:46: The fat kid running to the cafeteria
The main timeline, or post-Flashpoint timeline, of this universe started with a Flashpoint being undone, and then it ended with another Flashpoint being created. It even seems that Reverse-Flash was indirectly responsible for Darkseid's actions since he indirectly caused Barry to do all this.
Had to come back here to forget the wasted potential of the DCEU's The Flash, bar Michael Keaton, his scenes were incredible
The time travelling bgm was epic & masterpiece.
Here after Apokolips War...and damn. If Barry had never done any of this in the first place, Darkseid wouldn't have invaded. Constantine said as much. It's crazy the repercussions of the first movie come back in the last one.
