This mermaid has a beautiful face sculpt. I like that her hair looks very soft. Some of the fantasy hair is kind of stiff and doesn't style well. Thanks for giving her articulation 😅😅 She deserves it.

At first, I was not very fond of the dolls hair, but after new body and a quick rinse, I think she is really cute!

I think part of the reason her "fantasy hair" still works is because it feels realistic to what a teen/young adult would actually dye their hair, plus it's rather muted/pastel which makes her stand out less. Kinda like the pale pink mermaid from the reboot you used!

It's a little tricky because of how teeny tiny the shoes are but its definitely possible to tie the laces of the mini fashion sneakers so they are a bit better fitting on a standard barbie foot! Otherwise a bit of poster putty under their heel works too :)

I will put her on a regular or made to move body like you did. I prefer my dolls to have legs. The accessories are great. Maybe you could paint over the designs on the duplicate purses to change them and have a new look.

I love her! I have this doll and I put her head on the tall, pale barbie Looks(Victoria) after giving the body a slightly smaller waist. I bought a few of the Looks #10(Simone) and gave them smaller waists, as well. I put my Basics #4 head on one body and it's a perfect match, in case anyone has that older doll and wants to give her an articulated body! I gave the tennis player body to my Marilyn Monroe doll and it's nearly perfect!
