Ok, so Mattel is capable of doing really detailed and cute accessories and furniture. At least based off of the Monster High things. So like, why can't they do that for Barbie? I just wish they'd put this much effort into their other doll brands as well! They're clearly capable!
My wager would be that MH has a target audience of teens while barbie has children? Maybe? Idk but barbie does need better accessories
Ur totally right,Mattel should upgrade Barbie’s accessories,but maybe the reason is because mattel really puts effort on the Barbie doll to make them look realistic and they don’t have enough materials to make their accessories more realistic.
Monster high has a higher price point than Barbie, so if they did do that, Barbie product’s prices might go up. Also the target audience for MH is a bit older than Barbie, I think older kids would care more about the details and appreciate them more, whereas a younger kid probably wouldn’t notice or care about them as much.
@@omb57 Have you seen the price for some of the Barbies? Hardly below MH pricing. No one is referring to the Fashionistas, there are a LOT of Barbies more expensive than MH and quality is waaay below MH :(

I like how Monster High is bringing out so many detailed accessories to the series of dolls.
Little fun tip: singe the ends of Venus’s hair with a lighter to prevent the twists from unraveling ! :)
You can also prevent fraying by applying Dritz Fray Check found in sewing notions aisle at many stores. 😉

Let`s embrace colour ! hahaha..In fact, I would love bold colours on walls plus dark academia style in this apartment as background for the furniture. So suitable for MH ghouls and mansters. I`m not very keen on "neutrals", naturals and "white tones". Glad to see G3 crew again on your videos.
That die are one of the types used for an RPG game, like Dungeons and Dragons.
So if you ever think about making your own set of doll sized dice, then you can probably get away with making your own doll sized Dungeons and Dragons game for your dolls!
Of course, D&D now has an app that keeps track of your characters and such instead of using paper, but that's for iPads and such.
You can still use paper, pencils and real math rocks! I do quite regularly lol.

From the looks of it, I'm gonna guess that the die is a d12. The d stands for die and the 12 is for how many sides the die has. The most common die you would encounter would be a d6. And my favourite is probably a d20, but I think that is most tabletop roleplayer's favourite too haha.
I can't tell if it is a brain been bag chair, cloud bean bag chair or a dust bean bag chair. That Magazine needs some page's of fang-tastic fashion. We need monster high books!

That's a D20...or D12? However many sides it has is what it's called; it's a dice for playing tabletop board games, popularized by DnD and other such games like Pathfinder and so on.
Love the new dolls, I still don't think they're for me seeing as my main goal with mine is to mix and match clothing, which is really difficult to do when every character has a wildly different theme and body type to the point of wearing some outfits utterly impossible...but I'll admit, I'm definitely tempted!

I just got my Venus doll in the mail yesterday and I was blown away by the colors and how gorgeous she is. I have those playsets as well minus the draculaura garden set, I really want it. I combined them as well and it looks great
I resisted collecting MH for years when they first came out. I only bought them for kids in my family. But eventually a few slithered into my collection too. But I really thought that I was safe from these G3….until Venus! I had to have her! She’s been here for a week & I can’t stop looking at her! 😍💚🌺

Just watched the video last night I absolutely love Venus's new look. I went on Mattel's website and seen that they have a G3 Heath Burns, and a 3 pack with Purrsephone, Meowlody, and Torelai
I've heard of a few miniaturists using enamel paint to redo some plastic pieces, maybe that could work for the couch? You might need to seal it with a type of sealant, but after that it shouldn't chip off over time. Love your videos Toya! 🐸🐸🐸

Toya, that is a really interesting way to show the monster high play sets. We love Barbie, and plus we're adult doll collectors. Adult themes come with the territory. It's interesting to see the difference in\between the quality of the play set in an adult Barbie environment not always plastic, pink, plastic pillows, and tinker toy type of Barbie sets.
As an adult doll & toy collector appreciate the crafts and builds you do very well. Toya, please design more Barbie doll builds, furniture, beds, couches, bedding, accessories; and, if you are still fell a bit inspired... I miss Darbie, Sommer n Cali; any new ideas or storylines Ms Toya?

I need Twyla now... because I absolutely love that soda LOL. I agree with people saying the details on the Monster High things are amazing. I wish they could do that with Barbie as well. All those cute little details that look like high quality stuff is what people want. That lounge set is too cute! Must resist... but probably can't. :D Love that lamp - perfect for my haunted house diorama! The basketball game is also super cute - and don't feel bad, you did better than I would have at trying to make a basket LOL Eeee strawberry milk! Love it!!! I really like how cute they've made Draculaura in G3. I think she's my favorite this time around. Abbey is a close second. :D And I love that she comes with SPF 100 sunscreen - that's exactly what I wear LOL.

Dang, now we really need a G1 normie universe too, to finally get the characters’ original backgrounds through some fans’ thick skulls. I swear they just refuse to accept they’re from different countries/ethnic groups because of their fantasy skin tones? Meanwhile Venus is one of the least humanoid and if we really wanted to be accurate wouldn’t even be from this planet, and yet they accept her having human race now just fine.

Not really crazy bout the hands on the chair but I really like everything else. If i may make a craft suggestion for a diy monster high couch or sofa you could make a monster high couch or sofa with clawed feet and hands.
