I wish they had made the “chef hat” light a separate item to buy with replaceable batteries. That just seems so exceptionally wasteful.
Or maybe just have the batteries be replaceable in general

exactly this! I want to be able to set a doll house table with a meal, so I would rather have 2 portions rather than the same light in every single kit.
I'm curious as to why she doesn't use the included products ....looks like the glazes are resin and the chef hat is a curing light...???
@@mdtomchick1563she is working in her office (a closed space) and has a sensitive immune system that resin can trigger because of the fumes or touching it

Well she has explained multiple times she personally doesn’t like to work with resin so …. Not really classic, just her personal preference obviously

@@floryarroyave7033she mentioned her skin can be very sensitive and she had issues with products similar to resin so she prefer to avoid them all together
@floryarroyave7033 she's sensitive to certain chemicals. Plus no resin means she can devolve the mid podge and remake the item differently
I don’t know if you noticed: the instructions also have a QR code that takes you to a real recipe for the dish you made in miniature. If you get that vegan mousse, it’ll have an included recipe so you can make one for yourself and eat it!

Love when you work with these even though you don’t like the resin. I think the way you use the modpodge makes it look more realistic anyway ❤

Have you thought about making a DIY doll room, inspired by the restaurants or cooking classes? I can totally see one that's almost like the ones from cooking shows or "Game shows" like Iron Chef America and Chopped (If you've seen those shows), where the dolls can learn how to cook.
OR it could be a kind of science kitchen, where the chefs are trying to create dishes or foods that are healthier or taste like meat, like the Impossible Meat!
BTW! NerdECrafter reviewed this product, she explained that if you scan the QR code, it'll take you to the official Mini Brands Create X MasterChef page, where there are actual recipes of the dishes (Depending on the set you get) that you can make in real life!
What about using a small chain and glue to the bottom of the lamp and hang upside down for a lamp in a row of booths/ tables for a pop up Master Chef restaurant???❤❤

These are so cute! Miniverse has some competition! I haven't been able to find any of these yet (what a surprise...) but your videos are so helpful in determining scale! Thank you for sharing! I'm as excited about the plates and bowls as I am the food lol. I haven't used any of my resin because I'm a fan of nothing being permanent. Without the resin, I can take things in and out of scenes as I please. :D Plus it's a lot less messy! Your method of making the sauce is amazing! Absolute perfection!

She’s probably using glossy mod podge because it dries with a glossy finish, perfect for “glazes”

I like the idea that Barbie can create meals in her kitchen for her family.
These look great, I like how the containers are more realistic than in the competing DIY miniature kits. The only thing is that they provide the same garnish piece in every set, wich looks odd if you are a collector.

I love how these come with a UV light shaped like a chef's hat because that way it can be a kitchen decor when you're done with it 😎 For the minis that don't come with the UV light I use the Dollar Tree nail light lamp 😃 I haven't bought any of these because I'm waiting for them to go on clearance 😆
I love these menus! I got my first two and they were already doubles with the peach pie one! Doubles can be a curse or I just learned to use them in different things or different style plates

That resin is strong smelling like the alternative
Personally, I find some of these resin kits frustrating because they have you put UV resin in places that UV light struggles to reach. That’s where mod podge or another non-UV glue really helps. I haven’t bought these kits yet, but I’m intrigued that some of them have decoden cream instead of just resin. That makes me think about how you can make a “whipped cream” out of air dry clay that can be piped and holds its shape. That could be amazing for doll crafts!

I’ve got a couple of these. I want the roasted potatoes. I’ve gotten a strawberry cake thing and some pastry rolls. The bottom of the cake stand is great for a modern candlestick or, this is what I used it for, feet for a headboard. The little handles on Miniverse fit right in the hole! The little uv light is a waste. It doesn’t really work well and once it’s used up… what do you do with it? I think we need to really brain worm about what to make out of the packaging for these mini kits. We did the window gardens, chairs, baby beds, what else? Seriously I have a 20 gal tote FULL!… I think I need an intervention!

Fantastic background. Is there a product you can buy (maybe from Amazon) too slow down the drying time of the glue/paint? I like the idea of moving the pork chop around, and using the spoon. That would be fantastic for Barbie doll videos, movies, etc. I hope you make another series🤞, and build more rooms, and designs, decorating, sewing and doing crafts with us again 🧡.

I've seen these every time I go to the local Target. They look fun, very detailed, and I'm tempted to buy them, but I have very little patience when it comes to drying time and resin seems a bit expensive despite the small price tag. Should I buy them, but not use the resin? I don't know! I want my dolls to eat MasterChef dishes so bad!!!
