If he can maintain his 1st set form, Zverev will win the French Open.
He should not even drop a set against anyone but Sinner and Alcaraz.
I wish him a major title.
His form in the 2nd set wasn't bad either. It should've been 6-4 again, but that missed service fault should've been Jarry's 3rd DF in that game. Instead, he survived for 5 all & Serverev had to break in the 12th game instead.
A clinical straight sets performance from Serverev on his way to lifting his 6th Masters title & rising to #4 in the rankings. 6-4 7-5 in 1hr 41mins. 80% 1st serves in, 95% 1st serves won, 70% 2nd serves won, only 8 UEs. A man on a mission! In the final few games, the lines people "missed" THREE service faults from Jarry. The first one slipped through to allow 5-4 to become 5 all, but at 6-5 Sasha caught the last 2 errors & let the umpire know he wasn't happy about these repeated missed calls long before wrapping up proceedings on return. They really tried it. This is why we NEED ELC. Side note: Jarry's wife is so stunning, he can't take it!

zverev is the ultimate pusher in atp
i mean he has a very big serve, and while he plays more conservatively from the baseline hes not a pusher hes just more of a baseline grinder
id say people like de minaur and norrie can be somewhat considered ultimate pusher
Zverev has too much power & weight to his average rally ball to be considered a pusher. Shows how much you DON'T know about tennis. For the record, he's categorized as a big server & solid baseliner.
The biggest pushers are Monfils and Medvedev though?
@@got2bjosh maybe on hard courts but on clay it seems pretty pusher for me
@@agradina There's first strike players like Ruby, counterpunchers who absorb pace like most Euro players raised on the Big 3 over the past two decades, & pushers like Pusherino who give you no pace to work with. Sasha hits with pace, weight, & depth.
just watched the other video with the 'normal' camera angle they always use (understandably somewhat bc i think it is a better view overall to follow the gameplay, more clean.)
alas i think this camera angle here makes it look down right scary, on the normal camera angle they still look like normal dudes somehow playin tennis, this camera angle here makes it look way more brutal

i think you can even improve this camera angle bc what i often missed here is that i couldnt see the return player returning, which wouldve been interesting to see how he deals with the huge serve coming into him, bc he was standing too far back/the camera was too near
