I think may need more turkey ferry orders . Four orders may need more new vessels .As the older assets are prone to having breakdowns.

Why is cma wasting time and money on this self-congratulatory nonsense when it has two long overdue and much needed ferries stuck at port Glasgow which tend to indicate much of this video's content and claims are just rubbish 🗑?

Don’t worry, after independence you’ll be lucky to get a new row boat. No point in polishing medals in a video when you can’t serve the Isle of Arran properly. Your fleet is falling apart.

David Butler you exaggerate -Ferguson's are perfectly capable of building a rowing boat every 5 years for a bargain £100 million-if you doubt me ask Nicola .

@@ronnieince4568 she would pay that, then loose the paperwork and disown all responsibility. It’s going to be five years late as the propulsion is a new design.

That $580 million will ending up paying for TWO ferries and port changes that are years late and will require their fuel to be trucked up from England. Meanwhile the rest of the fleet is breaking down more and more because they are old and worked to death. If the Board had any scruples they would resign.

I wouldn't be investing in the new Arran ferries since they're likely never to sail since Sturgeon and her mob completely messed things up.
Theyve certainly promoted the shipbuilding industry for the likes of Poland and Turkey and effectively destroyed the industry for Clyde built ferries.

I'm not sure why a private shipyard failing to fulfil its contract obligations has turned into an exaggerated political witch hunt.
At the end of the day, it was Fergusons who rushed construction and knowingly built the vessel to the wrong specifications so they could keep to schedule and keep claiming their "milestone completion payments" to pay off their debts. When it blew up in their face, the owners jumped overboard and left it to the government to waste time and money cleaning up the mess they created while using them as a convenient scapegoat.

      @@paulheenan9098 Are you serious.
It's not a witch hunt,, its just simply the SNP being completely stupid and ignoring every piece of advice from those who were in the know.
They were so many red flags but of course they were ignored because the SNP wanted to influence the voters with the "good news: about the ferry contract.
They deserve all the flak they get because they totally brought it upon themselves.

The don’t even know if the engines will run as they have been standing for so long. If they do run my bet is a lot of breakdowns.

@@donaldtrumpton6252 I absolutely agree. I'm pretty sure the longer they lie around gathering dust and corrosion , then it can only be expected that there will be more problems,,,, and no doubt more inquiry's.
