This video details the install of a brand new SAVUTE drawer system by Big Country 4x4 and Rugged Bound Supply Company. The SAVUTE drawer has one of the largest capacities of any drawer system for a Jeep Wrangler, while being both lockable and custom-molded to the back of the Jeep!

Had a long chat with the guy from rugged bound last weekend about many of his products at an overland rally and I was throughly impressed with the build quality. I will most likely be purchasing one of his awnings in a few months.

Sorry about that, that video is one of my next to produce, just waiting for a free weekend! This drawer has been one of my best Overland upgrades thus far! It's an absolute tank and is as good as the day I installed it.
It's a shame that something so nice (and expensive) offers ZERO security.
It has a lock.
I know these drawer systems are not cheap. Are they worth it?
So, is this unit secure? It looks to me that all you have to do to get access to the contents is to remove the top with an Allen wrench?
What the use of having the lock,, if you can get into it in less than 5 minutes?
I mean if someone wants to get into it, they could. There's more than 8 screws holding the top on so you'd have to be pretty motivated. Also the fridge is on top of it weighing it down.
how much does it weigh?
Everything with the Disco comes to about 27lbs. Unsure about the Skottle

I can only find them for the JK, on any site. Not even an option for JL.
They now have a JL option!
