Persona 5 (PS4) - Drink Fanatic Trophy Guide

- To earn this trophy, you need to buy every kind of drink from vending machines at least once.
There are a total of 26 different drinks, and not all of them are available immediately. More get added to the vending machines as the story progresses.
By Oct 14th you should be able to get all the drinks. Also many drinks can be found in other places such as the subway and Shibuya, but as long as you follow the video, you'll earn the trophy.

Once you have bought all 26 unique drinks, the trophy should unlock.

So here's the actual problem. Don't trust your inventory. Just buy every drink. The trophy will not proc for just having every drink. You must BUY every drink. Not obtain. It would be great if the video put a caption or something to warn people of that small detail. But to the ones looking through the comments now wondering "WTF?", that's how you actually get this trophy. Just wait till November and make a save, then Buy Out every machine.

Lmao. After reading this, I said “god damn it”, and then proceeded to the nearest vending machine in which I bought ‘Odd Morsal’...which then prompted the trophy...thanks for the tip.
Remember folks it's BUY every drink not OWN, so buy every single drink and it will unlock.

Ricardo Calderon Yes! Unless it arrives on a different date on the first playthrough, I've never tried it.
I think people get it from a mob drop early then think that they had brought it when they look at their inventory and end up getting confused

Like the uploader said, by Oct. 14 you should be able to get all of the drinks. Just buy every drink from Yongen, Shibuya, courtyard/school gate, Shinjuku, and Akihabara. You *SHOULD* be able to get the trophy.

There really does need to be more vids like this where the creator explains precisely the information necessary and in a cohert and prompt fashion. It's weird there are a lot of vids where the creator is like: "What's going on guys. I told you I would be back with something crazy and this is pretty crazy..."
Just explain the information you want to talk about conclude with 'like/subscribe' and just be done with it

Thanks for the vid man. But if anyone still doesnt have the trophy after following this guide, try the machine beside the bathhouse and central street beside beef bowl shop. Make sure you buy out each vending machine in each area in this vid. Peace
Thanks for the info! Realized I had gotten one of the drinks as a drop so I just went around buying every drink on your list until the trophy popped.
As a side note all the drinks you bought at the school can all be bought at central street in shibuya in case anyone can't access the school anymore

Just a FYI, there is a vending machine not shown on the vid. if you go to central street in Shibuya there is vending machine, when you fast travel there.

I get all drinks on 12/22, the only ones who i were missing were the ones of the school, but in that day i could buy everything

Are you guys past Oct 14th? You might be missing the last drink that should get added within this month.
Did you make a back up save? If you did, go to that and redo it.
Make sure to buy every drink that you don't have in your inventory. Someone messaged me earlier and said they couldn't get it either. I told them to go to every vending machine and buy all the drinks. That seemed to work. Although I think they forgot to buy one.

I'm currently 178 hours in on my 3rd playthrough. I only need this trophy and the games and books one to get the platinum. I reloaded a save in November and bought all the drinks and checked my inventory and I have them all but it isn't popping. I guess I'll just have to do it all over again cause I've tried everything.
Damn. It seems to be tied to your save. Do you want to try a couple things?
First uninstall the game and reinstall it. Then buy all the drinks. If that doesn't work, disconnect from online and try it. If you are always offline, try connecting to online. I'd rather you not go through another playthrough

Legit bought every drink till sold out and got the trophee on the last one. Think the drink was rancid something in a pink machine.

Can you buy them all in a single day or do you have to keep looking for all of them?
Pretty sure you can buy them all in one day, but it's best to do this when you're near the end of the game. That way, you don't need to worry about doing it in NG+

i just didnt buy muscle drink but i had 10 of them from the enemies in futabas palace
Yea you have to buy it. Getting it from the enemies doesn't work...

Absolutely! Your social stats carry over, so don't worry about maxing them in the first playthrough

Is the drink from the vending machine in the airsoft shop require for the trophy?
Also, I got the trophy without buying the drinks of the school (I was in December, so I could not access to the school)
just did it and got the trophy in less than 5 minutes, but how did you get 2 million?! I'm late game now and I barely have 300k. Would love a guide on the fastest way to make money.
I grinded in Mementos, after getting the Sun arcana to max. Just kept extorting enemies for money. Spent a total of say 3 hours.... But it was worth it, as I don't have to worry about money. I also was doing this to get some Futaba lines to pop up. So yea
rubhen925 another way is to solo some mementos bosses and inflict Confuse on them. The amount of money they throw away is proportional to your equipped Persona Luck stat.

yknow wut its cause some of em drop from shadows. Those don't count as buy. I started up my November save and BOUGHT EM ALL.

well there an old anime called Mad Bull 34 it about a cop and a rookie cop who goes around doing random stuff. it one of the more ruder anime out there since it is old but it a golden one

U sure you bought them? Sometimes enemies drop them and they come into your inventory

OK. Yea I think I can put up a video with a list of all Personas. Then you can use the fusion calculator to create all of them easily.
