Typical fickle sports media pundits. A few weeks ago âIs De Bruyne the best midfielder in PL history?â Now âis he past it?â Typical fickle.
Agree totally..the media have the memory of a goldfish
He's defo best midfielder in pl history. His legacy is up there with Henry.
Wouldn't have him ahead of Keane, viera, Scholes, lampard or Gerrard
But he has been past his best this season because the injuries heâs so much less mobile , heâs still really good but people forget how mobile he was 2/3 seasons ago which was his best so therefore heâs past his best
@@barry2924Probably because you donât like City, right? He is better than all those players
"Stones hasn't played in over a month" I'll see your stones and raise you martinez and varane with about 5 games between them all season and no left back
At 33y, of course, Kevin is past his best, but with 6 goals and 18 assists since his comeback in January, he's still a major force for City! And even at 90%, Kevin is still better than most other midfielders in the world, and replacing him with someone else who's better is not easy to find! I'm pretty sure if he stays healthy, he can still be a major contributor to winning trophies for City!
Just spew out a few hundred m you'll be fine đ
All credit to Ten Hag it was a masterclass. Stopped City playing , and made Utd dangerous going forward. City didnât turn up because Utd didnât let them đ
City didnât turn up because they made stupid mistakes.
Dont agree. Pep did a bad tactical decision.
đŻ
@@egoi6421 ok how was man united first goal scored
City were just off it and made mistakes
Things were clearly off
30 minutes into the match City had no shots on goal. What did Pep Guardiola say to his team at halftime down 2-0 to motivate them? I certainly wasn't expecting a comeback. We've seen this movie before against Real Madrid, LIverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea. City winning all the statistical categories and not winning the match. How many times do we have to say Mancity is having an off day and not considering Mancity is having a Big-Match coaching problem?
Exactly but an off day in the final against your nearest rival stings abit more đ
He just messed up his line up
He should hv started Doku over Kova n Akanji n Dias over Stones n Ake
It happens
@@Paul_Greenwood_look on the bright side
If we were off this season n won the PL still despite Desperate Arsenal n Overrated Liverpool
Imagine what City can do next season which is usually a REBOUND plus new player(s) 2 acquire
Big match coaching problem
My God Almighty đđđđ
Name a coach with more trophies since pep took over
Please do it for me
When city were 2-0 behind against villa was there a problem there
If you're gonna hate on pep do better than that
At least come up with something believable
Can't go slating city or pep, he didn't just get outclassed by ten bag đ
Its not about Man city not getting going! UTD never let them! Defended brilliantly and was very good in transition. Give credit when it's due ffs
Rashford hasn't played for Long, Martinez all season, varane hasn't played much, mount too was this excuse of calling out stones, like they had all the issue not man utd
City didnt had no off day, Manchester United denied space and worked hard, and they deserved to win full stop..city got beaten..!!!!
Both are true. City had an off day, and United had their best game of the season, with Ten Hag getting his tactics spot on.
Kevin this season has 24goals+assists in just 25 appearance in all competitions đ€Š
City celebrated the league win too early and it cost them the cup
They celebrated 6 days ago that's easily enough time to get back to it. They were just not good enough yesterday is all
Who did city beat in the last 6 games?đđ
They thought they'd already beaten united. Too confident and bottled it
He will win the league again and win the PFA
Can they not understand ten Hags Masterclass in tactical setup?
Hoof ball Burnley football đ
No
â@@Paul_Greenwood_ so you can't understand it either? Thanks for sharing with the class
@@ste4392hoof ball can win you gamesâŠsometimes đ
Masterclass tactics
Y'all are on weed
There was no master class
City were just not good enough
Ole beat pep twice did u call it a masterclass??
KBB looked happy to come off.
Love the fact talksport all in mud manchester is red đ
Some can say too much over the top celebrations after winning title (clubbing, alcohol). Well it is simple: Man City underestimated Manutd heavily. I have not seen any drive from City players⊠Walker tried, but others were shocking⊠on the other hand Manutd showed massive guts and simply came to win the match. As much as I admire Guardiola, after the match he was embarrassing with his altercation with referee⊠respect to UnitedâŠ
Credit man UTd !!
Played a 3rd of the season and still created the most chances, wtf is wrong with the media
If Kevin has been struggling with injuries this year, wouldnât it suggest that it would impact on his performances this season at 32. The Euros could be critical to his fitness and how next season may develop.
Wouldnât be surprised if KDB leaves if honest. Pep has subbed him a lot which clearly didnât go down well with KDB. I know heâs coming back from injury but can see him moving him on.
He can't be as quick carrying all that hair gel
KDB is still better than your better midfielder
I think football fans would all agree KDB is a fantastic player, but could a case be made that he goes missing in finals? I cannot remember a final in recent years where KDB has had a great game or been pivotal to Man Citys success, but I'm happy to be proved wrong.
He looked like he was miles off the pace at West Ham as well. I was watching it thinking, he's gone at the end of the season
He is getting older like us all but being played to far up top and needs a pre season a 50% kdb is better than 90% of prem players
Ten Hag got his tactics right and should get his credit. KDB still a great player despite his injuries this season
So not the fact heâs come back from a potential career ending injury at his age to drag his team to a 4th title in a row but a below average performance in what 60 minutes? Makes him on the way out?
Get this old fool off the radio.
Absolutely insane take this video is
The Gillingham F.C.legend Tony Cascarino has spoken! KDB better listen to that top top top footballer that nearly got promoted to the Championship with Gillingham!
These pundits are an embarrassment to journalism. Yesterday United were dead and buried before the match started. No need to look at teams or formations, it was a forgone conclusion. Fast forward barely 24 hours and they couldnt of been more wrong and now one of the best midfielders of his generation is passed his best? After one game đ€đ yeah ok mate.
Hahaha what a baby
@@james.butler. trolling mate yeah? đđđ
@@Wearethewingmakers no there is no trolling, I am really calling you a baby. I see you have edited your comment now.
KDB is past his best tho thatâs true the same way Salah is for us ⊠are they both effective and elite players ⊠yes but are they declining physically absolutely.
@@james.butler. edited to make sure it hadnt been removed đ 2 subscribers joined Feb 24, thus a troll. Youre calling me a baby for having an opinion that you dont agree with? You sure its you who aint the child? Adults can accept opinions, even the ones they disagree with, baby insult. đđđđ»
First time this season United played as a team
I think De Bruyne has one more good season, but Silva I think is done. We need younger faster creative players like Oscar Bobb on the right wing and I hope Pep let him play from start in every game in the pre-season. Let him get some confidence and he will start to thrive.
This game was very similar to Atlanta Leverkusen. City and Leverkusen could not get going.
Apart from it was the complete oppositeâŠ. Atalanta pressed man for man and in high mid block united played low block âŠ
â@@VR46314you have to play that way against city
Can't do it on the big stage. Even look at Belgium
What about Grealish. Pep does not seem to fancy him much. But most of the City attackers were snuffed out. Foden was the worse I say.
Does Tony know De bruuyne's stats. Didnt play loads but check the assists. Talking without knowing.
bro. Kdb was not that good. For real I'll have Bernardo Silva over kdb but I never thought that pep gonna humiliate him like this. At least there is no city fan call in and offer to drive him like LFC fan who wanna drive Gerrard after that infamous slip
De Bryne and Foden are still amazing. Ten Hag out tactic'd Pep Guardiola. Pep Roulette didnt work. Ten Hag set us up so narrow and allowed them to have the ball on the wings, so they couldnt cross to haaland cos there was too many bodies. 2nd half Doku was lively but Wan Bissakka had him most time. GGMU
United players trying to play there way into the euros while city players resting coz they know they have done enough
Letâs be honest kdb has been past it for a while. It just doesnât get spoken about because of the team heâs in
TBF, KDB has went down hill since he's went to Grealish's same barbers!
All seriousness I always feel he never really turns up in finals or in really big games , not hating on him because he is amazing
Manchester City needs to consider replacing Kevin De Bruyne in the next 12-18 months. Donât get me wrong, heâs a phenomenal player and nobody is doubting his ability but I think that age is finally catching up to the Belgian maestro. In the summer, he turns 33, heâs not getting any younger, heâs picking up more injuries, in certain games he looks very tired and sluggish, he canât cope with the pace and physical demands of the game, heâs not as physically sharp as he used to be, sometimes he struggles to complete a full 90 minutes and Pep takes him out so early. You canât rely on him forever and they have to be in the market for another midfielder. They have to go for a midfielder that has almost the same sort of profile that he has who can last games longer and have the energy for a full 90 minutes. His contract is up in the summer of 2025 and if they get a good offer for him from Saudi Arabia, I donât know they might consider accepting it because I might sound crazy for saying this but itâs probably the right time for get some money out of him. If you renew his contract for another year or 2, I donât know how much money they would get from him in the future as you expect him to end up in Saudi Arabia sooner or later. Itâs a similar situation to the one that Liverpool are facing with Mohamed Salah where if heâs unlikely to renew his contract if Saudi Arabia are making an offer for you, the club doesnât know whether or not they should accept it and this is a dilemma that theyâre facing with De Bruyne.
You canât rule out a move to Saudi Arabia especially with a lot of high profile players going there for the money. As weâve seen in the past, they have a policy when it comes to players in their 30s+, we see this with the likes of Real Madrid Bayern Munich and other clubs, as they know when the time is right to move on from players who are past their best, City have done that with Sergio Aguero David Silva Vincent Kompany Fernandinho etc, KDB is no exception to this.
Kdb is the king of the premier league you canât replace him or get anyone close to his ability I get what your saying but de bruyne is a whole another level
Yeah your right they should sell him to west ham đ
Paqueta replacement since heâs about to get a 10 year ban đđđđđđđđđđđđđđđđđđđ
These guys are so salty towards United!!!
SERIOUSLY!đ€Ż.
Man C could have went trophyless if one club & team would have done their job. Real Madrid stopped City in the CL, one of the worst sides ever in MUFC stopped them in FA cup but Arsenal, the best Arsenal ever by Arteta's insinuation could not stop City winning the EPL.
These reactionary and goalpost changing pUnDiTs
One bad game, one bad loss and they're questioning if KDB should consider retiring đ
If City had won they'd be saying he should be in the Ballon d'Or
United stopped them from playing.. And Citeh was shocked by United's setup
Park the Double decker bus?? đ
They parked the bus and were given an open goal from a city mistake. If they lose that game everyone is questioning why they would setup like that in a final.
A win is a win.. What a doughnut
@@Ayah_Mia I didn't say it wasn't. Sunday league teams can park the bus though lad. United have spent billions and have the highest wage bill in England. Like I said if they get beat playing like that the amount of abuse would be legendary.
City drinking till 5am big mistake đ
City bottled it. Why should Pep get a pass? The media is a joke these days
He may have lost a bit of desire as he has won everything there.
Why does it matter?
??
One week they talk players up !! Next youâre knocking them down! This is the worst trait in these uneducated pundits.
Am interested to know why in the main, Talk Sport is always so negative about everything... I mean JESUS, we have enough stress when our teams lose... and then you watch TS and its shite like is Kevin De Bruyne past his best... Why not celebrate the good stuff... So depressing all this negativity
With a decent defense in Varane and Licha.. it just showed City are not invincible... city tried.. United were better on the day... stop making excuses for city
KDB past it đ cause of yesterday well I will take that past it KDB at Arsenal all day and would every other team in world football Tony đ€Łđ€Ł
Seriously talk sport?
Never seen such a pointless and stupid thing said about 1 of the best midfielders in the world
Get camavinga.
One poor performance meaning .. Foden was poor too.
Man city can spend 100s billions and never be barcelona
Tony you won 3 league 2 titles with teams in England and France so not really the best person to be talking about the highest level of football - you are not even worthy of cleaning De Bruyneâs boots
I personally believe so. If not then why the hell is he taken off. Especially in a cup final.
Yep. All good things come to an end. Kdb has been brilliant but time to go.
Time to go haha. Joker. He will be the top of the assists next season and score more than anyone other than Haaland, with Foden. He just had injuries and has 1 more year owed to him.
@@therecanbeonlyone801 You're in for a shock kid.
