Tenere 700 WORLD RAID - Bash Plate and Scatter Shield Install

G'day everyone,
Check out our newly developed bash plate and scatter shield for the #Tenere700 #WorldRaid which will be available in the coming weeks. This video is the 'how to' on install with additional information on both products.
Product info: Bash Plate
- CNC machined from 5mm 5083 structural grade aluminium
- TIG welded internally and externally
- double-skinned underneath in the high-impact area
- 8mm HDPE linkage guard comes standard with bash plate
- available in black textured powder coat
- available in polished
- our second version of our bash plate allows for genuine crash bars but will not be compatible with our scatter shield and relocation of the horn bracket is not necessary

- CNC machined from 2.5mm 5052 marine grade aluminium
- fills the gap between radiator and bash plate to help prevent roost and debris from entering behind the bash plate and header area
- retains airflow
- enhances that rally aesthetic for all you rally heads

@@daveo9844 tough decisions. We also have a bash plate, lower shark fin chain guard, radiator guard and hinged luggage rack for the Tuareg also. :) so we got you covered.

I would dread changing the oil filter with this type of engine guard and it looks like getting the horn closer to the exhaust will present future problems.

6 bolts to remove a heavy-duty Rally bash plate is pretty decent. If at all, horn problems in the future, would be a small sacrifice for the protection or don't run the upper Scatter Shield.

Not sure what there is to dread. After the initial one off steel bracket installation it's 6 easily acessible bolts, pretty much the same as any other bash plate on the market and you've just watched a video of the few minutes it takes to bolt on an off. If installing with the scatter shield, some careful maneuvering and you don't even have to remove the clips on the plastic shrouds.
As for the horn, it's nowhere near close enough for it to be an issue.
