If this format saves you a lot of stress and energy, honestly you should keep it. You're so experienced as a speaker and video instructor at this point that it barely felt unedited at all. Your quick mention of "let me check my notes" wasn't even bothersome, it put a nice place to breathe in between the segments. Legitimately, it does not feel any worse than your usual videos, which is a testament to your skill at this after years of doing it. Might be worth considering.
Also, on topic, extremely useful video because I do feel like even when I finally slip something, it always leads to me getting hit anyway. Doubling up the head movement or popping back up with a counter might just be what I need, and the reminder to always already be in motion, tiring and hard as that can be, is also a welcome one.
Brilliant video... You don't need editing..
Pretty solid video for a single take! Good quick info as I wait outside the gym.
This is good stuff. I see that it's all about establishing good habits in movement. The point is to always cover or think of distance before setting up the next move. Best wishes for a safe and successful match, coach.
Thanks for the video. I think the format in just one take is great. You did a very good job. It shows that you are a teacher, besides being a champion. So if editing is taking a lot of time, then don't bother with it too much.
Cant wait to hear how your fight goes Gabriel, were all rooting for you!
Thank you, this is great stuff to practice when shadowboxing too
Really grateful for all of th ese sparring tips, lots to think about so I can drill good habits.
Amazing Video, there are no edits needed! Good Luck for your Fights Gabriel and thanks for this Informatione here!
Feels good to be early to a varga video, thank you!
These tips are truly practical and useful👌
We've been working a lot of slip/counter drills at the gym this past week. Thanks for the tips.
Good luck on your next fight, Gabriel!
Love everything you cover brother! Will definitely share this with my students.
Honestly i prefer this unedited format. Super natural
Great work!
Thank you Mr. Varga, huge fan from Central America
I absolutely thank you for this video Gabriel, it is absolutely what I needed, my coach told me to work a bit on my slipping and evasive game in my arsenal Gabriel and another way you could avoid getting hit while slipping is to move to the side and then cut the angle to get your counters off too just thought to say that too but an amazing video on slipping mistakes non the less I did make a few of these which I will be sure to start correcting at the gym Gabriel! 🎉
Good luck in the upcoming fight, looking forward to it!
I been atruggling with headmovement , i can slip and do but trying to do it more regularly . This vid helped thanks gabriel, good luck in the fight
very good video ,thanks
Great video
Appreciate you Sensei Varga 💐
Awesome! Learning so much from you.
I have a question, when slipping to the outside should you protect both sides of the head with your arms or just the outside? Because I've heard people say that you should worry about the hook hitting the side of your head closest to the opponent. Also, I really appreciate you making videos for us even though you're busy. Thanks Coach Varga!
Great advices, thank you!
Good advice!
Thank you again sir 💯
Good luck on your fight champ 🏆🏆🏆🏆
Thank you Gabriel, these tips are very helpful. One question: what should I do if the opponent starts very explosive?
thanks for sharing. Good luck on your upcoming bout
Please can you do a video on mastering and using the pull and counter? In particular against a sucker punch in a street fight.
Do a video on the pull counter.
Good luck in the upcomng fight 👍
Needed this🥹🤌🏻
a quick question, is it a good idea to make it a habit to throw out a jab or a straight simultaneously as you slip?
I thought you were going to say moving into the punch. Not that I've ever done that. ;)
When keeping the head in random motion how do we keep from going into the strike which is high impact?
make it small, like barely perceptible
Never move your head forwards
hi if you're reading the comments how is there a way to gather all of the martial arts techniques from all free and maybe paid teachers in order to improve the techniques and make martial arts better known?martial arts teachers being scattered and teaching useless techniques is a major problem to me considering how nowadays people react and behave thinking in a misleading way
I try not to slip on the inside
Slipping shots in Kickboxing is quite dangerous compared to boxing. My coach didn't recommend it
