Respectful Lobby Racing with friends - (08/08/2024) -

Tonight I plan to run the following races, as defined by the randomiser :
Barcelona GP No Chicane - Gr.4 - 6 laps - RM (No Pit)
Daytona Road Course - Gr.3 - 11 laps - RM (No Pit)
Colorado Springs - Mini Cooper 'S' 1965 - SS (No Pit)

Dragon Trail Seaside - Gr.4 - 6 laps - RS (No Pit)
Tokyo Expressway - Super Formula - 8 laps (Manic Fun Wind Down Race)
** Please no drifting, actions that cause yellow flags (parking at the side of the track, spinning over the finishing line, etc.) and please be aware of our 'Give the place back' policy. Above all, we race respectfully and we interact respectfully. Disrespect will not be tolerated and penalities will be given accordingly.
PLEASE NOTE: For the Tokyo Expressway Race:
1) Do not bump the leader.
2) Do not wall ride.
3) Do not deliberately bump other cars, especially into the first and last corners.
4) Be aware of your brake points and gears for the first and last corners.
5) Don't rage quite. You will get bumped, you might get turned around but with Boost on and Slipstream set to strong, you are likely to catch up, other than on the last lap.
Otherwise, there are no penalties and no other rules, weaving and blocking is allowed but with boot and slip, you are likely to get turned around if you block and weave too much. It is better to work together.

RACING WITH US IN THE LOBBY

If you wish to race with us, please keep it clean and respectful at all times. The sessions are policed and persistent dirty racing will result in a kick. Respectful means to give the place back if you bump someone on track and you ruin their race. Then 'after' the race, please apologize in the YT chat, this smooths everything over and we all remain respectful friends.
This respect continues into the chat (game chat, CZcams chat and Discord chat). Any verbal insults or foul language in chat is an immediate one night race ban. This is to protect our young and vulnerable adults who have joined our community for a fun, healthy and respectful experience.
The races are open to Friends, so please subscribe to the channel and then ask for my PSN address in the chat. Make a friend request and I’ll grant that usually between each race. As always, these races are based on a first in the lobby basis. People that join the lobby but do not join the race in a timely manner will be kicked, purely to keep the races moving.
For the random lobby races, I am trying to have a 5-10 minutes practice session (often when I am doing some housekeeping on the channel, or chatting), then a 10 minute qualifier and then the race itself, often over 10 minutes, or longer for he longer tracks like the Nordschleife, Le Mans, etc.

I love racing on motor racing sim games and Gran Turismo has been my favorite for many years.
