Just a quick update with the positions on the leader board for the DT-02 Speed Competition that I shall be hosting this year.

Hey I can wallow in being in first place for a week now 🤣 It will all change when more people get involved but I'll enjoy it for now 😁 I notice that your pinion is 32dp rather than 0.8 mod. I know these are similar and should mesh but I have never tried mixing different types. Good luck with getting it into the gearbox. I did have a look for one but wasn't sure whether to spend the money if I wasn't 100% sure it would fit. Good luck with your future runs and thanks for the update 😁👍👍
Hi Pete, I have been assured by my local model shop technicians that the 22t pinion will fit 🤔 so I'm taking their word for it. I only paid £4:99 along with some other bits n bobs for a project I'm doing for someone else but thought it too good of an opportunity to pass by for a better speed time.
Next vid coming soon with NO crashes this time ...

I have a 22t on its way too so going to have a play when that arrives. I have 4 more motors here to try that have gradually lower turns so am going to hopefully increase my speed little by little
Hi Glenn, you will still be in the Top 3 when you swap over to the 22t pinion, that's for sure 👍

The gearing should really make a big difference in the speed! I know in the TT02 speed runs last year it was the only way to get them going! LOL!
Hi Addam, fingers crossed the pinion helps with the overall top end plus the higher kv motor should help it along its Merry little way haha
Obviously I can't win my own speed competition but there's no harm in trying to set a decent bench mark for others to try and beat 👍

@@cw-01creations46 Yes, I need to get something put together for it. Some motor swapping and tune up stuff is needed for sure to get mine moving fast enough to compete!

Hi, should make my 1st run(s) soon in brushed. I'm curious on how you will put the 22t pinion as I haven't found this info in the manual (only 17 and 19) 🤔 Thanks for the update 😉

I will film the fitting of the 22t pinion in my gearbox housing and upload it to show you that it's not too difficult to do if you want a faster overall run time.
