Sequences like the one at 5:13 are why I love classic AC parkour. Getting into that flow state where you feel as free as a bird on the rooftops and you start nailing every optimization feels so sick. No other system in the series has come close to giving me a feeling of liberation as great as that.

@@Engille967 How so? AC1 has arguably the best parkour geometry layout (cities) and it uses the first parkour system which is just better than ac3-Rogue system so by default it's better than those games anyway
They definitely know-the only reason we’re able to move around like this is because they designed the mechanics and the level design to encourage cool movement. When they were making the first Assassin’s Creed, they were fresh off Prince of Persia. They knew what they were doing
AC2 is great but I’ll always prefer Brotherhood just because of how much better its stealth is, mechanically and in terms of level design. It feels so natural to do social stealth in the open world in Brotherhood, whereas with AC2 getting interesting open world stealth snippets can be pretty frustrating tbqh

Semi-choreographed. I kinda just did stuff on random parkour starters and restarted if I screwed up until I had something decently watchable lol. Some of these have a decent amount of improv in them

After playing brotherhood again, I think I prefer ac2. Might be the best one
