As a cowboys fan. I couldn't agree more... Best recent example. Dak.. should've paid him right away when it was time too. Jerry is the thing holding us back. Wasted wittens good years... Wasted romos good years... Wasted wares good years.. it's a trend..Jerry couldn't put his pride aside with jimmy years ago. And he'll always pay the price for it

God how I know, every freaking time I go into the grocery store, go out to eat, or buy literally anything I am reminded of this freaking fact.
This is daks last year as a cowboy. The market for him might be 60 mil. Micah might be 30 mil and CeeDee could be close to 30 mil. No way they are doing 100-120 mil on 3 players. That’s not sustainable.

In the NFL you have to pave a way yourself or copy what dynasties are doing...You don't copy what random teams are doing and then just hope for the best.

In theory paying a player early is cheaper, but two years later those guys are holding out and demanding for a contract bump anyway.

Actually think it makes sense to wait on CD now it’s got to this point. He won’t get as much as Jefferson or chase… see what those guys get and he gets a chunk less.
He should get more than those guys In my opinion, He was by far the best WR last season 135 rec and almost 1800 yrds 12 TDs, Only player close is Tyreek. He's the clear #1 player on the Cowboys, It's crazy he isnt signed to an Extension yet. I wouldn't make this up especially as someone who hates the Cowboys
@@Eaglesfan220 he had a fantastic year for sure! 100% agree but a lot of that is scheme fit. But he isn’t the same calibre, film shows it. Regardless of the very impressive stats. Stats aren’t the most important thing to me though but I get where you’re coming from. He is a top player just not in the 1% of the 1% like chase, Jefferson and as you mentioned hill.
