Jerry knows and the world knows that the SuperBowls (decades ago) were mainly, not all, down to Jimmy Johnson. They have drafted pretty well but as a GM overall and owner (there's naturally a blurring of lines) its not been as efficient as it could have been for the Cowboys, This is down to his ego. If you really want to win and be 'all in' leave your ego at the door man.

Why do people give the cowboys so much crap about the situation with Dak? They dont want to get tied down paying a guy that cant get it done in the playoffs. Not extending Dak is a great move. Of course, ideally they would have given him a contract that gives them an out that doesnt include a year with a huge cap hit. They did wait too long to address it. But now that they are here, not tying themselves down to Dak is the way to go

Micah is going to ask for $30/mil/yr and only a fool would pay that- If Jerry had any sense he'd put Micah out for trade offers about 50 minutes before this year's draft. CD is the only real elite player besides Zack Martin. If the Cowboys try to keep Dak, Micah, CD ... they are going to be a gutted team.. with scrubs .. and a few overpaid guys who lose alot.
