dude its $10 000 thats more like preying on people with disabilities where ordinary VR gaming headset only costs $500 with far more tech inside. They never mention what camera quality is in that overpriced crap either.
lasarith2 CNET is basically a CZcams channel that advertises consumer tech. If you are looking for a youtube channel that covers tech like this I would recommend Motherboard.
I’m glad that this is a thing. I’m already a deaf person that uses hearing aids. If I ever become blind which is highly unlikely, I would definitely get something like this.
I'm legally blind and I'd pay 10K. You have no idea how hard it is to walk around places alone if at all. I just wouldn't sell my guitar collection for it. lol
Same I am legally blind and I am only 14 and I am scared that I will have to do that some day. Also I think in some states they will pay for it. I am in the process of getting them
I agree to be blind is the worse of the disabilities in my opinion. I am partially blind on left eye and couldn't imagine loosing other sight. Those glasses are awesome! The question is how those glasses connect with optical nerve or the retina? Is surgery necessary? Do those glasses work for any kind of blindness?
I can't stop crying. My father has macular degeneration. I'm sure he is legally blind but he still drives for work. He tells me he can recognize me by my smile. I know he's listening though, he can't see well enough to read anymore. This is heartbreaking because there was never a moment, during his spare time I don't remember him reading to himself or to me. This gives me so much hope. Except for the price.
I need these! I am 14 and I got diagnosed with star grads about 6 month ago and it is really hard to do a lot of things now. I am legally blind right now and I don’t know how fast it will progress
This is great, and a door opener for all who are blind, myself who is totally blind from injury sustained in Iraq, can't wait till the day that they come up with something where they can take somebody who is totally blind and had both their eyes removed, and make them see you again
I have the same eye disease. I've adapted rather well, use a white cane when I out. I have an excellent magnifier that I use. Sucks I can't drive. My iPad has a screen reader on it. I corrected vision is 10/225. One can adapt to anything in life.
this is technology at it best! not instegram, snapchat and all that bullshit that desroyes instead of improve , thechnology was meant for this kind of sulotions
I hope these work, but I don't think so. The optical nerve or the retina might be damaged, then how you gonna transfer the image to the brain to be processed unless you transplant an electronic chip for example in the brain.
Because on android, iOS, and Windows devices they make these things called screen readers that allow blind people to interact with their computers, mobile phones, and lead someone of a normal life while there are a lot of limitations to these, they do grab accessibility options for the people who are blind and visually impaired, as well as those with motor still you should check it out, on android to use what's called talkback, on iOS that use what's called voice over, and on Windows devices you have many options, such as and be DIA, jars, when the wise, these allow us to interact with the Internet and such
Man, I cant image what it would be like to be blind, then suddenly seeing your partner for the first time after 8 years of Marriage
Dieter Rust i would probably get divorced 😂
YOU'RE A MAN?!
Frock off I'm blind in one eye homie it weird but i can still see
Dieter Rust have you tried those glasses and is it a totally approved your site or if there's dust and adds
Have you tried both classes and is it approved your side vision 93Legit
Instead of my taxes going to war let's get glasses for blind people who's with me!!!!

I have a friend who lives in Palos Heights, IL who is blind, and who I think would greatly benefit from the technology.
This is amazing. Great job eSight.
Prefer this kind of news video over -oh look another 5 videos on the same phone within 2 days.

Thank goodness for innovations in medical technology.

This is very good
As a nearly blind Trekkie, I would love this but that price tag...
ThejewelCraft0100 id pay $10,000 to get my eyesight back
It's priceless I suppose. I dream of that day I could read something that isn't enlarged or in Braille. With technology, it'll happen some day.
You have to have eyesight to use this. It's no good for totally blind people, or people with certain types and degrees of low vision.
They are 6k right now
