    I just came up on this video by accident. I saw the guy by the tractor and thought he sure looks like my uncle Gerald. And it is. My dad, brother and I helped him on the farm in Zumbrota. My brother helped him on the Elsworth farm for a number of years. Just like he said you work all your life and do not know what to do when retired. My mom, Gerald's sister, says the same thing. Thanks for the video. Brought back many memories!!

    I love these stories! I have the upmost respect for dairy farmers of the past especially. They worked their asses off, they were innovative, strong, and yet kind and understanding to those around them. Congratulations to this man, he deserves some rest, and relaxation.

    My father bought a brand new 756 in 1968 it was a diesel, damn good tractor ran a 2 row Fox corn Harvester did all our heavy work then we went to a 966 we kept the 756, really miss that tractor enjoyed the video very entertaining!

    Excellent video my late Dad , his late brother my uncle had home farm from 1957 to 1997 sold it originally there parents , used 1963 McCormick International B414 Loader tractor Desiel motor bought new for $3.500 , bought new 1968 International 624 A Desiel motor tractor no loader for a $5.000 , also had on farm plus 3 rent farms a 1950 Cockshutt 40 with Buta 6 cylinder motor gas one , in 1985 bought 3 owner at International dealership a 1968 McCormick International 105C combine gas motor with cab plus grain to , 1987 on local paper a farm auction sale came bought used 1978 International 724 B loader Desiel fuel motor tractor for $6.800 Canada dollars! 1972 to 1990's Farm in Ontario Canada prices went up and nice buy new tractor or combines and machinery too! In 1992 to 1995 my late Dad also uncle said need rebuilt motor on International tractor, also combine motor too ! I found at local farm a farmer had a had cheap 1963 McCormick International B414 Loader tractor Desiel for parts so restoration one my late dad and Uncle I was glad did because bucket rough shape on orgnail B414 Loader tractor! Also help fixed like new again! When farm sold in 1997 old Cockshutt 40 tractor was gone in 1993 sold to some to restoration another one too ! But sure enjoy growing up on Farming to and but harder then used be ! Even in 1980's was hard for my late Dad and late Uncle had home farm also 2 rents over 800 acres do and in 1986 started help them out till sold 1997 with machinery plus tractor also combine too ! Help them retired afterwards!

    Its really cool to see another 756 gas a good freind of mine has one he grew up with we had quite the go round finding a new motor for it ened up have custom pistons made after years of the wrong overhaul kit put in got a 715 combine motor back in the day my love for gas tractors started one fall grinding ear corn pulling wagons with his 756 gas and 666 gas both have amazing stories along with a cherry low hour 5088 and a mint condition high hour 5250 case ih

    The grain embargo caused a terrible drop in price combined with terrible high interest rates were devastating to farmers

      We only have a large garden each year 😅 we have a ‘39 Farmall M, a ‘56 Farmall 100 and a ‘81 IH 274 Diesel. Love these tractors! Thanks for asking 👍 My Dad farmed a little in the ‘60’s & ‘70’s. Take care! 🙂

    Love these videos just one thing i would like is to show a bit more of the tractor maybe start them and let us hear them run whenever its possible. Im fascinated by these big petrol tractors as we don't have them here in Ireland. what horse power is that and what kind of a fuel tank is on a gas tractor.

    I've got a gas 806 thats in pretty good shape. Its a heavier tractor than you would think. Red iron weighs more i guess lol.

    Never seen a 756 gas in my area! We have a 756 German with an M&W and 12,000hr later still untouched engine that makes 110hp

    I would love the find a dairy farm in WI I've been looking for three years but there nothing more than 10 acre farms so if you know of one let me know I have the cow's and the equipment already

    I'd rather run my 706 gas right now than the 1086. $2.66 a gallon burning 5 gallon an hour vs 1086 burning 5 gallon an hour at $3.65 per gallon

    My dad and I had a 756 gas and our neighbor had a 756 diesel with the hydraulic seat and the tilt wheel both excellent machines .
