Hey Adventure Seekers! 🎒✨
Welcome to our latest family adventure where we decided to trek over to Southern Hill Farms in Clermont, FL. We visit this place several times a year, but thought it would be a nice treat for us to take you along with us and see what this place has to offer. So come with us on a journey filled with excitement, nature, and a little bit of blueberries. 🫐🌄👣
On this adventure we decided to do something that’s in Florida and headed down to Southern Hill Farms, which is in Clermont. During the spring time they have areas where you can pick blueberries, peaches, sunflowers, Zinnias, and vegetable, but we only picked blueberries this time. During the fall and winter season they’ll have strawberries and pumpkins to pick.
Southern Hill Farms has 120-acre family-owned and operated farm. They planted their first crop of blueberries in 2010 and currently have 40 acres of blueberry bushes, five acres of peaches and 15 acres of strawberries. They also have picturesque fields of sunflowers each season and zinnias in the spring and fall. They welcome guests during their winter and spring u-pick seasons and again in the fall during their Fall Festival, a family destination to remember.
One of the highlighted parts of the farm was being able to see all the blueberries that they've grown for everyone to enjoy, but also being able to eat the blueberries while picking! 😱 The atmosphere here was amazing. We had a wonderful time visiting Southern Hill Farms. Being able to spend some time as a family was definitely fun and enjoyable.
If you’re considering visiting Southern Hill Farms, we highly recommend taking the time to come visit. One thing to remember is to make sure you wear a hat and have some water with you if you plan on staying awhile to enjoy the area. 🧢 💦
