  • Welcome to the most informative 18 minutes you'll encounter on the 2024 Acura Integra A-Spec (base model) with CVT transmission! I'm award-winning Canadian motoring journalist and technical writer Justin Pritchard, and in this video I'm taking you for a spin in the 2024 Acura Integra A-Spec base model as we test the engine, ride, seats, headlights, braking, handling, cruising comfort, and more.
Should you buy the Integra A-Spec base model, or step up to the Integra A-Spec Elite? You'll have a much clearer answer to that question after you see where the base model might be feeling a little bit sparse.
Here's what I've got cooked up for you in this video:

00:38 2024 Acura Integra: Here's where (and how) it's built!

17:08 2024 Acura Integra A-Spec Base Night Drive
We’ll start with a tour of the Marysville Auto Plant in Ohio, where the latest Integra is built. I’ll share insights into the manufacturing process, including how the Integra’s challenging roof shape is created.
Next, we’ll discuss Canadian pricing for the 2024 Acura Integra, both for the A-Spec base model and the deluxe Elite A-Spec. We’ll also delve into the differences between these two trim grades, and I’ll share some areas where I found the base model to be feeling pretty sparse.
Under the hood, we have a 1.5 litre turbo four-cylinder VTEC engine, good for 200 horsepower and 192 pounds of torque. We’ll discuss the performance of this engine, and how it pairs with the standard CVT transmission.
For those who prefer a manual transmission, I’ll share how you can opt for a six-speed manual as a zero-dollar option.
We’ll also take a detailed look at the interior of the 2024 Acura Integra A-Spec base model. From the all-digital instrument cluster to the LED backlighting around the knurled climate controls, I’ll show you what sets this car apart.
Finally, we’ll hit the road for a comprehensive road test. I’ll share my thoughts on the Integra’s handling, steering, and braking, as well as any notable complaints. We’ll also discuss how the CVT performs in action, and I’ll share my experience driving the Integra at night.
Join me as we explore whether the 2024 Acura Integra, with its A-Spec package and CVT transmission, should be your next car!

A CVT isn’t a bad thing if it’s done right. Subaru CVTs don’t feel or act like CVTs so I rather like them. Not sure what Honda…..I mean “Acura” has done with the CVT in this car.

I look forward to paying 250$ to get a software patch for when the speed limits change

I rather buy a honda civic hybrid, this car doesn't show anything more special then a Civic or rather pay little more for a TLX.

I mean it's just a nicer Honda Civic better interior with better overall looks I personally would rather pay extra money for this. It's really not that much more than a civic
