Nike Alphafly Next% Unboxing and First Measurements

- Nike Alphafly Next% marathon racing shoe arrives on the scene, doh. With every marathon, almost, canceled around the world during this spring marathon racing season (2020), it will be interesting to watch the rollout of the Nike Alphafly Next% to the greater public, along with other carbon fiber plate running and racing shoes in early 2020 with the global pause happening for all races. A quick note, the Nike Alphafly Next% has gained some weight from the Nike Next%, but the Air Zoom pods are supposed to make up for that weight with more energy return in the Nike Alphafly Next%. Stay tuned for the initial testing of the Nike Alphafly Next% in the coming days, which will be a bit strange without a half marathon or marathon on the racing calendar. Onward and Upward to great running despite the lack of races for us all, we will come out the other side stronger!

Never thought I'd run in NIKE again. But that Alpha Tempo in that black/green is right up my alley, even though I love my Hoka Carbon X's (and Hoka in general).
Can’t wait to see the first impression!!
I actually got a transaction through about 3 seconds into it being available on the Nike App by preparing everything in advance (password, payment, being on the actual Alphafly search results screen) and refreshing + tapping through everything very quickly. But then my bank then notified me 3 minutes later via text that they blocked the transaction for 'unusual activity.' Been with that bank 20 years, had multiple the amount of the purchase in that account, so it'll be time to change once this pandemic dies out (hopefully). The shoe that launched a thousand ships, lol.
Can't get over this shoe technology. I ran my 2 fastest marathons essentially in racing flats (Brooks Green Silence and Puma Faas). Kinda makes me wonder how much faster I could have run with carbon plates and thick foam!

There are so many shoes and manufacturers of them, as a new runner older n life I started looking at a 5k and signed up for one on May 30, I currently have the brooks Ghost, obviously at this point not looking for a neutral shoe for a marathon , but a shoe that would be good for up to a 10K, do u have any suggestions for a few shoes for me to look at and research , if u are even able to offer any thoughts on this crazy question, Never run before, I went to a store late last year And ran up and down the store and through that they brought out the ghost 11? So sorry for the long message , vinny

I got mine last week!!! And wear it ran a virtual 5K. I love it a lot!!!! That 2 air pods (they call them atom unit right?) are 2 springs. I end with a 30 secs PR

I mean this in a non-judgemental and genuinely curious way. In a previous video, after the controversy surrounding Nike sponsored programs, which the CEO of Nike was admittedly aware of and turned a blind eye to, you mentioned something along the lines of; it would take a lot for Nike to redeem themselves. (Sorry if I misquoted you, I don't want to put words in your mouth.) Nike has yet to do anything to try to redeem themselves, and have in fact doubled down on backing Alberto. Along with their suspicious ties to W.A. and the release of these shoes, they seem to be ignoring any wrong doing they have been apart of. Do you feel Nike is reputable and or has cleaned up their act? There seems to be a lot of free and positive advertising for the company on the channel. Much love, your positivity is always appreciated, especially in the current times.
