Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real brief look at this submersible red LED mini clearance or side marker trailer light with grommet. Now this light is going to function as both a rear side marker and clearance light when properly mounted. And this features one red LED underneath a red lens. This is rated up to 100,000 hours of operation.
It's energy efficient, long lasting, and vibration resistant. As you can see, I shut my lights off here real quick just to give you a better demonstration of what this is going to look like in the dark. This is a wide view and I'm just gonna shine it on the wall behind me. And so hopefully you can get a good idea of what this is going to look like. Going back in for a closeup.
It's pretty bright for the type of light that it is. This is a PC rated light, meaning it produces a 90 degree angle of light on either side of its center line for a total of 180 degrees of coverage. This beam pattern can be clearly seen when you're standing directly in front of the light, as well as when you are standing on either side of the light. So rather than buying a side marker and clearance light separately, you can mount this single PC rated light at a 45 degree angle on the front corner of your trailer to act as both. This sealed waterproof light includes a durable polycarbonate housing and a UV resistant lens.
The circuit board is of a military grade construction and the urethane potting offers better protection than the common epoxy potting. This is IP rated at 68. Of course, this is 12 volt DC compatible. This is a two wire pigtail. You can see here on the other side, so you'll just hard wire this in to your application.
The wire length I measured before our time together is about 17 inches long. And this is a recessed mount installation with the included grommet that you see here. And installation's going to require a three quarter of an inch diameter cutout. This is about seven eighths of an inch thick. We do have a diagram of additional measurements of this light on our product page if there's some additional measurements that you needed that I did not cover with you today. This does meet or exceed FMVSS 108 standards. And this does have a limited lifetime warranty. Well, that's gonna wrap up our real quick look today.
