Pitch black on top kinda makes sense to me at least “concept” wise because light will eventually burn out and, everything will be pitch black. yeah death will come after everything but, once all life is eradicated there is no other function for death anymore.

First of all the number one most powerful DreamWorks villain is Eris from Sinbad, Because she is the Goddess of Strife and Discord (Chaos)
Second of All, for the people in the comments saying Death is stronger because he’s Death, Death from Puss in Boots is very, very low complex and is a Kai victim since some of the powerful characters here are immortal,
I can easily debunk all of Death’s feats (if he has any)
Death didn’t reality warp in the cave, they were all illusions and they were all wall level, Puss has beaten a Giant and Death can beat Puss, well actually that Giant is town level and pathetic, Death walked through a barrier that can decimate anyone, well it didn’t instantly kill baby bear, and would most likely not effect powerful characters here, besides Death was only in there for like five seconds, “I’m dEaTh sTrAIgHt uP” higher complex entities have either killed a embodiment, erased an embodiment or survived existence erasure, Death is town level, fighting off his victims one at a time, knocked down by Puss who has defeated a town level giant, Death smashed crystals with his bare hands, that’s not even Wall level since crystals material that has been carved are quite fragile.
Come crying to me fanboys. Death Straight up is a fraud.

you are forgetting that death isnt a power level, he is simply death, when you encounter death, you die, that simple. he is beyond more powerful than you are giving him credit for. In the end, its not that death couldnt beat puss, because that wouldn't make sense on how he nearly killed him in the beginning but couldnt beat him in the end. also, we know how annoying it was to him when people didnt value life, so we can pretty easily say that he was never going to collect puss's life, he was there to put the fear of death in puss so that he can value life.

death is the strongest and i can explain why,
first of all, i did some research and it turns out that immortals are NOT stronger than death, rather death simply decided to not collect that immortals life. i have proof of this. an immortal cannot beat death, because if an immortal did have an encounter with death, they would be dead. This means that immortals cant BEAT death, because they have simply never encountered him. i have asked chat gpt this question and i got the following, "If death was considered an entity and a person was immortal, the concept of immortality implies that the person does not experience death. In this scenario, the immortal person has not encountered the death entity, rather than having beaten death. Immortality suggests a state of existence without the inevitability of death, rather than overcoming death itself." this is just further proof that immortals are not stronger than death, death simply has never encountered them. At any moment, death could decide to appear to any entity at any moment, (but then that would make them mortals). so, all the immortals that do exist, are just simply beings that death has not encountered yet.
in summary, immortals are not stronger than death, because they have never encountered him in the first place, and if they just so happened to encounter him, the immortals would become mortals because of a death encounter.

Im sorry, but why is pitch FIRST?! that should be death, because he is well DEATH! You cant win against death! Pitch should be on second or third place, but deffinitetly not first. Pitch is clearly powerful, since he is the personification of fear, but he can be easily defeated by fun and laughter. Pitch is only powerful as long as people feel fear. Death on the other side can not be defeated, at one point he comes for every single one of us.

Puss didnt defeat death in battle, death lost interest in him, walked off and told puss to live his (last) life the best he could. But in the end death will still come for everyone and you cant escape him, for some people he just comes sooner and for others later. In the end he finds you no matter what and takes you with him. You cant defeat him, only outrun him for a while till he gets you anyway.
