Unfortunately, it has to be almond flour. With regular flour, it would be a whole different recipe and the egg to flour ratio would need to change completely.

I have not tried this recipe with all-purpose flour, but I think you would need more AP flour than almond flour since the textures are not the same. Based off of other recipes, I think you would need at least 1 cup of flour, maybe even 1 1/4 cup total. I hope that helps :)

Hi Lexi, I find it a lot easier to spread the brownie batter with foil in the pan rather than parchment paper. I've made it with parchment paper in the past and it was a challenge to smooth out the thick batter without the parchment sliding around. You are welcome to use parchment paper instead though :)
