Love the date at 4:30!!
I need all indexes,FFS!!
SEIKO,congrats. Wants.
Totally agree with your sentiments regarding the circular date window. I rarely notice it on my SPB333 and I prefer the greater dial symmetry.
Glad to hear!
Was nice to catch you at the British Watchmakers Day!
🙌
Likewise!
Good ole Seiko. Adding another 100m of water resistance will bate many of us into the "must have" camp.
The 3 days text will become collectable? Can't see that staying
I enjoyed a day with British Watchmakers & met many you mentioned. I hope it becomes an annual event
I think the updates for the Seiko are great, I had the SPB143 for years and I think I will get the new blue one
Nice!
Love the way you dig at the trolls, who seem to hate everything!
First time I have caught the video. Loved it. Concise but packed with information. Seeing white dials everywhere. Glad since it aids legibility
Thanks!
Yeah, Seiko is (trying to) improving evrerything... except the accuracy !
By the time you empty the power reserve, the time is off by about a minute. 🙄
So what's the point ?! 🤨
I have the small lum at 3 version, and I'm selling it.
I have 3 watches with 6R movements and they all run like crap. 💩
I personally would’ve much preferred a no date at that point
I still love these video's you make, specifically with Zach Weiss. His sarcasm and honesty really make the show.
Thanks!
Nice to see the ghost of james Gandolfini picking up a studio underdog
I might be in a minority, but I think details like date windows, rivets on bracelets, snowflake hands etc. are really prominent when looking at macros - but when you actually wear the watch, it becomes a part of the package.
I like the date location and shape. Like you say, it’s there when you need it
5:07 Great video. I like “almost 3 days.” That’s a watch I would buy. But you know what’s better? “3 Days mas o menos “. Tell me it wouldn’t sell out…
Haha love it!
Ok, you have a point 😂
Great video
Thanks for the visit!
The biggest change for me on the new Seiko MAS range is the ever so slightly smaller numerals on the bezel, which allows the full scale to be put on there. This sounds ludicrous but I think it completely changes the way the watch looks for the better. I thought the numerals dominated the dial slightly before.
I prefer the date window when done right like this one.
I really hope the updated Seikos are lighter than their predecessors. I have an SPB143 and it’s surprisingly heavy. Mostly due to the bracelet. It’ll just help the watch wear better in general.
Stop with the 3days bashing , get over it, it’s here to stay, it’s not worst than the 24 jewels text. 72 hours is more power reserve than the Sub and the BB58
I more grateful for my spb143. The round (much prefer square) 4:30 date is a deal breaker and I don’t like the 3 days. I also prefer the sunray grey dial and brushed bezel than a matte black dial that’s been taken out of the willard spb317 and matte black bezel.
I would just rather not have a date.
🍻👍🏻
Thanks!
5:53 😂😂
😂😂😂
Yeah you need a lot convincing to eat fish and chips. The British do that meal so well.

Studio Underdog and pizza watches? Call me conservative, but we are all-in on trinkets here. And to the “it’s a bit of fun, don’t take it so seriously” people, tell that to yourself when you find it in the bottom of a drawer in five years’ time, between the emigrated belly button fluff and an old ballpoint, and ask yourself why your brain malfunctioned. 😊
Nobody will buy 453 with that extremely annoying text about 3 days. Total marketing fail
the seiko looks fugly
