I am going to Loyola soon and am so excited! I’ve been looking at a bunch of dorm tours on the website to get a feel for what it’ll be like and so far Regis Hall is my favorite!
as a freshman dorm, i think it was perfect for me! i am a little bummed i didn’t get fordham for next year but i’m still happy with regis.
@@KaylaMary I'll let you know how Fordham is if I remember this video! My roommate was pulled in the raffle so we got first pick!
I definitely recommend Regis! I just moved out today. Compared to Francis, Regis has private bathrooms (not suite-style), 2 smaller windows taking up more of the wall instead of 1 on the side, and wider desks. The floors are laminate, which basically means they look like hardwood but they're plastic-ish (I think it's easier to clean than carpet, and honestly I just like it better). I requested Francis but I'm happier I ended up in Regis. Great first college dorm experience.
mine already came half-lofted, but i believe you can have the bed raised or lowered during move-in. however, we can’t loft all the way to make bunk beds or fit the desk underneath
@@veggiestrawzzz9890 What Kayla said! The reslife website says you can't loft them but apparently you can have them raised or lowered, and I have friends whose rooms came with one bed raised (ours didn't). You can get height adjustable bed posts put on the bed, or it'll come with it because they just left it on there, and there are a few different heights. I think it raises up to a few feet.

what were the qualificants for their honors program if you don't mind sharing?
My daughter is interested in going to Loyola. This dorm would be a great choice her. It’s nice that you share your bathroom with just one other person. This school is pretty expensive. I’m not sure if we can afford it. My daughter got a $23,000 scholarship but her tuition will still be $37,000. Did you get a good scholarship? Are your parents helping you pay for school? Thank you for this video.
that’s awesome! i totally understand and a major qualm i have is the price. i’m also on scholarship, but they max out at $26k/year. i got 100,000 total, so yeah $25k/year, my parents are helping me, but i do still have to take out loans. i’m happy i could help!!!
