They didn't have the energy for a world tour. Plant's voice could not stand up with that power and register for more than three shows in a row without his vocal chords getting permanently damaged. Page's arthritic hands don't even sign autographs anymore and he too would not hold up.
Most of all Robert Plant has the utmost respect for Bonham and his family. You see and I quote Plant "There is Bonzo and then you have the kid" that Zeppelin is nothing without John Henry Bonham. It would have been nothing but a cash grab that they don't need. Jason annoys Robert to no end and always has. He puts up with Jason because it's his best friends son, and that is a fact. Do you think Page ,Plant, and Jones could put up with Jason every day and night on stage for 2 hours and traveling around the world? NOT A SNOWBALL'S CHANCE IN HELL. Why ruin the legacy of the best band of all time? They have more wisdom and class for that. We got one last ray of light from the o2 show and that is where it ends. POINT FINAL.
@@DaveClark-ib6spno talk of a big world tour (though Plant still tours) but they could have done a few more gigs in USA, Europe or elsewhere, given the huge public demand.
