- Welp, this week's Toastbeard entry is a Discord song! Yeah, I know I make alot of those. Sue me. This song was one of those random out-of-nowhere inspirations, so it's a little... Well, you'll hear for yourself. It's "chaos", one might say. ;)

I keep hearing hints of the "Friendship" and "Nightmare Night" tune and note sequences.
I hear a hint of nightmare night here: 0:44 "I'm the spirit of chaos, don't deny" --> "She's living in the past so you won't last without the proper care"
And a hint of Friendship here: 0:56 "Don't fight it" --> "Don't leave me"
They just reminded me of the two songs.
I thought the first part of the chorus sounded familiar.
imagine if the guy who sang this did discords actual voice... *shivers* gives me goose bumps. it would probably make him sound more menacing.
Then Discord would be my favorite

It would be true if he was a evil god of insanity but I think his voice works well to convey that he is a trickster god who just does things to amuse himself

What seems like order to you, is complete chaos for someone else. It's always there, always happening, always has been and always will be! and finally, the greatest part! I've never been into MLP, but some fan songs are...Really good.
Actually, Discord doesn't strike me as being evil. He never actually physically hurt anyone beyond a little ruffing up.
He's just a near-invincible being with enough power to dominate the planet. Of COURSE he's going to be bored and looking for a bit of fun.

This song always reminds me of Klarion the Witch Boy who is my favourite character from DC Young Justice. In the show, he’s a Lord of Chaos and is an all powerful magical villain. So in my honest opinion, I think this song fits him well. 😁😈🖤

Discord is amazing. I actually see him as a psychopath type villain. Sure he's chaotic, but he laughs at others' misery. He could have really been a really notable adversary (well, he already is) but he had to be "reformed" which I personally think was a mistake.
